| Subjective Well-being(SWB)is a positive psychological quality,which has received extensive attention from researchers in the field of positive psychology in recent decades.The stage of junior high school is an important period of life development.Significant changes have taken place in the individual’s physiology and psychology.Therefore,paying attention to discover and cultivate the potential positive forces should enhance the development of mental health during the junior high school stage.Subjective well-being is one of the important positive forces.The influencing factors of subjective well-being include internal factors and external factors.This study selected the external factors regarding parental psychological control to discuss its relationship with the subjective well-being of junior high school students,and focus on the introduction of-psychological resilience as an intermediary variable.This study further explores the mechanism of psychological resilience between parental psychological control and subjective well-being of junior high school students.On this basis,this paper developed a group psychological counseling program,which would be conducted to intervene in the psychological resilience of junior high school students.The results on advancing the subjective well-being of junior high school students will be examined from improvement of their psychological resilience level in this program.In the first study,a questionnaire survey was adopted to randomly select the first and second grades students with a total amount of 430 students from a middle school in Wuhan as the subjects.This survey using the Parental Control Scale,Adolescent Psychological Resilience Scale,Life Satisfaction Scale,and Positive Emotional Negative Emotion Scale Research as a research tool to understand the relationship between the psychological control,psychological resilience,and subjective well-being of the parents of junior high school students.After processing and analyzing the collected data,the results were as follows:(1)Significant variations were found in the total scores and dimensions of parental psychological control when students in different grades and whether they are class leaders.Additionally,the total psychological resilience scores and dimensions were shown substantial differences from their grades,class identities,and places of origin.Also,the total scores of subjective well-being,life satisfaction,and positive attitudes presented significant differences from gender,grade,and identity in class.(2)This research found a significant negative correlation between the psychological control of the parents of junior high school students and their subjective well-being,a significant negative correlation between the psychological control of the parents of junior high school students,and the psychological resilience.Meanwhile,a significant positive correlation between the psychological resilience and subjective well-being of junior high school students was concluded.(3)Psychological resilience played a completely mediating role in the psychological control of parents and the subjective well-being of junior high school students.Combining the research one,the second research designed a group psychological counseling program for psychological resilience,with a designed questionnaire.Random recruitment of group psychological counseling objects was conducted in the first grade of junior high school students.The announcement of recruitment states the consistent ratio of male to female students,and twelve individuals were finally recruited.Subsequently,these people were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group,according to a 1:1 ratio of male to female students,with 6 people in each group.The group psychological counseling time was 12:50-13:50 every Tuesday,with a duration of 60 minutes and 6 sessions in total.The experimental group received 6 sessions of group psychological counseling,while no interventions in the control group did with any treatment and participation in group psychological counseling.Subsequently,the test results before and after the group psychological counseling were compared.The results showed that group psychological counseling can effectively improve the psychological resilience of junior high school students and ultimately enhance their subjective well-being.Theoretically,this study further explained the internal influence mechanism of parental psychological control on subjective well-being,explored the mediating role of psychological resilience between parental psychological control and subjective well-being,and enriched the related research on the influence of negative parenting styles on adolescents.In practice,through the development of group psychological counseling programs that improve psychological resilience,the individual’s psychological resilience is improved,and the negative impact of parental psychological control on subjective well-being is effectively dealt with.School psychology health teachers could also draw on the experiences of the group psychological counseling program from this paper.According to the various situations of different students facing the psychological control of their parents,they can improve their subjective well-being level to achieve physical and mental health by formulating psychological resilience group psychological counseling programs. |
