Performance management is the core of human resource management system for teachers in colleges and universities,as well as the important basis for teachers' career development planning and education and training.A scientific performance management system can not only make reasonable adjustments to the allocation of resources and coordination of goals in colleges and universities,but also urge teachers to improve their own quality through performance appraisal,performance evaluation and application of performance results,so as to realize self-value and promote the development of colleges and universities.Institutions of higher learning in the process of performance management to its own advantages and disadvantages and development direction and the external environment opportunities challenges have sufficient understanding and cognition,tailored to their own development performance management system,and combining the theory of performance management,optimize performance targets,regulating the performance management process,strengthen the performance communication link,make its can not only solve the problems existing in the current,also has certain forward-looking and strategic significance.This paper takes the performance management system of SJ university as the research object,and analyzes the current situation of performance management of SJ university by using performance management,performance appraisal and other relevant theories.First studied the SJ,title,university teachers degree and age structure of the different influence of performance management,and then to its organization structure,the performance management system of university of SJ basic idea and concrete implementation method were analyzed,and pointed out the performance management system is performance goals are not clear,the lack of effective incentive mechanism and communication feedback mechanism is not perfect,and to determine its optimization strategy,including performance goals to determine,to establish the system of performance evaluation,performance management process specification and optimization is used to assess the results of,to ensure the implementation of the performance management optimization system,It also plans the implementation guarantee measures of performance management optimization,resource guarantee and system guarantee,and points out the research direction for the optimization of performance management system of SJ university.
