Mr.Lv Bisong holds the view," For Chinese teaching,as a foreign language,its quality is not only determined by the teachers' capabilities,but also by lots of other factors.Among these factors,the most essential is the overall teaching-design and the scientificity and applicability of the textbooks.Without these factors the excellent teachers even could not bring into full play to their capabilities.The above view interprets the importance of the overall teaching-design in the Chinese teaching activities as a second language.A good teaching-design could not only improve the teachers ' teaching qualities and efficiency,but also can affect the students' understanding and mastery of knowledge.In recent years,the Chinese teaching activities in Cambodia has been booming and the number of Chinese-learners has increased year by year.However,the Chinese textbooks in Cambodia are totally compiled based on the contents of textbooks in primary and secondary schools in China.It is too difficult for the Cambodian students,whose mother-language is not Chinese,to understand the contents in those textbooks.Furthermore,it is also not helpful for the motivation of Chinese learning for those learners.In view of this realistic background,the author in this paper,based on her two-year teaching experience and the specific characteristics of students in Cambodian Chinese school,combining the researches,studies and experience in her teaching activities,taking a teaching design of one specific text for example,will pursue the proper teaching methods for the Cambodian Chinese primary schools,in order to provide some teaching reference for the teachers who want to engage themselves in Chinese-teaching in Cambodia in the future.This paper takes the fifth-grade students as the teaching object,in which study in Qihua School,where locates in Mianmo City,Tebenkom Province,Cambodia and takes the lesson "Angkor Monument" as an example for teaching design.The paper consists of four chapters.Chapter one is the introduction which includes the research background of this paper,the research status of teaching design and the goals and methods in this paper.Chapter two shows some existing problems to the Chinese-teaching design in Cambodia Chinese primary schools,mainly including the analysis of the textbooks,teaching methods and teaching object and the teaching principles to the design.Chapter three makes an analysis on the teaching design about the text "Angkor Monument",mainly including the lesson period,key-points&difficulties,grammar,vocabularies,extended knowledge,homework and the teaching evaluation.Chapter four is the conclusion,focusing on the enlightenment of the lesson plan design and the shortcomings of this article.
