The Development And Research On The Curriculum Resources For Local Geography In Hanzhong

Native geography is a crucial component of the contents and structure of geography curriculum.Along with the deepening new educational curriculum reform and state-local-school three-level managerial system of curriculum,studies on native geography have been developing rapidly.Various areas in China,e.g.Shanghai,Beijing,Anhui and Jiangsu,have their own distinctive characteristic textbooks of native geography.However,Hanzhong has little comprehensive research on home geological textbooks,and there are no inspirational textbooks available for local geography research,where the author is located,which have severely hindered the new educational curriculum reform and new era's ever-increasing demands on new type of talent development.It is extremely urgent to launch a practical and scientific development on the curriculum resources of native geography and compile a system and textbooks based on its own geographic characteristics in Hanzhong.This paper takes the home geography in Hanzhong as the background to conduct the research and development and practical exploration on the curriculum resources of home geography,with the target of developing a textbook of home geography of junior middle school matching the national curriculum which is scientific,systematic and high quality,in order to enhance the development of home geography curriculum and its textbook in Hanzhong.In Chapter 1 and 2 the research background,meaning,current status,objective and idea of a native geography curriculum were specifically analyzed and discussed.In addition,it set forth its core concepts and basic principles.In Chapter 3 an overview of local geography resources in Hanzhong City was made.It analyzes the geographic location of Hanzhong and the types and characteristics of its native geography resources by means of concrete field trip and previous literature review approach.In Chapter 4 and 5 it explored the development and application strategy of native geography resources in Hanzhong;It involved the development principle,procedure,development planning and utilization strategy in all aspects;In this paper the author adoptedclassic cases to conduct the practical exploration on the native geography curriculum in Hanzhong and provide deep insights and references for its teaching practice.The last chapter presents the conclusion and prospect and proposes the research conclusion on the native geography in Hanzhong and analyzes the direction of textbook improvement and future development.
