Comparative Analysis Of Chinese Teaching In Xinhua School And Santikeereewitthayakhom School In Mae Salong Chiangrai,Thailand

Mae Salong is located in Chiang rai province in the north of Thailand,which is the general headquarters of Duan Xiwen of the fifth army of the disabled 93 rd division of the Kuomintang.Mae Salong is also a place with a lot of Chinese people and Chinese villages,almost in those villagers have Chinese school.Chinese school was established here a long time ago,so the Mae Salong had an early opportunity to learn Chinese.The local people own great importance to Chinese language.Students study Chinese in Thai language school during the day and Chinese language school at night.In the past,Santikeereewitthayakhom School did not offer Chinese teaching courses.However,with the rapid development of China's economy,more and more people like to learn Chinese.The Thai ministry of education also supports Thai public schools to offer Chinese courses.I am from Thailand.I grew up in Mae Salong,Thailand,and studied in Mae Salong Xinghua middle School and Santikeereewitthayakhom School.I have some understanding of the differences in Chinese teaching between the two schools.For example,Mae Salong Xinghua middle School USES textbooks from Taiwan and USES traditional Chinese characters for teaching,while Santikeereewitthayakhom School USES textbooks from the ministry of education of Thailand and USES simplified Chinese characters for teaching.Due to the complexity of Chinese language teaching in Mae Salong,the author hopes that Chinese language teaching in the two schools can be much improved,so the author takes Mae Salong Xinghua middle School and Santikeereewitthayakhom School as research objects,and USES comparative analysis method to find out the problems existing in Chinese language teaching in the two schools.In order to have an accurate and in-depth understanding of the Chinese teaching in these two schools,the author obtained a large number of firsthand data by means of questionnaire survey,field observation and interview.The author summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese teaching in the two schools by analyzing and comparing the students,teaching materials and teachers,and then puts forward some improvement measures for the existing problems of the two schools.The author takes this opportunity to provide references for the two schools,hoping to improve the quality of Chinese language teaching in the two schools,as well as provide references for the Chinese language teaching in other schools in Thailand,so as to promote the development of Chinese language teaching in Thailand.
