Study On Data Quality Management Of Urban And Rural Integrated Household Survey In Maoming City

Data quality is the life of statistical investigations,quality poor or good reflects the value of the data,which determines the authority of statistics and the credibility of the government,and directly affects whether the government makes decisions scientifically or not.The Urban-rural Integrated household survey,as one of the main and important livelihood survey project of the government statistics department,tracks and monitors the income and consumption of urban and rural residents,which is the focus of attention of party committees,governments and all sectors of society.However,due to the inadequacy of data quality management and the interference of internal and external stakeholders,the urban-rural integration of household survey data is more or less distorted.This article is based on public product theory,total quality management,and service-oriented government theory,to beginning with understanding the status of data quality management of urban and rural integrated household surveys in Maoming,then specific analyzing of advantages and disadvantages of the theory,moreover,digging deeper into the opportunities and challenges of data quality management theory for urban and rural integrated household surveys in Maoming,to compare with external advanced experience,in order to proposing optimized countermeasures,like optimizing the household survey system,improving the coordination of survey households,strengthening the survey capacity and improving the level of statistical services,ending with Striving to provide theoretical and practical support for improving household surveys,strengthening management,and improving the quality of survey data.
