It has clearly stated in several policy documents to further explore and develop STEAM education mode in primary and secondary schools, and the strategy of developing country with science and education has also demonstrated the need for high-tech talents and innovative talents in society. However,at present, there is a great lack of STEAM course. On the other hand, there are still many problems in the Science courses in primary schools. For example, the interdisciplinary characteristics of knowledge are not strong, and there is insufficient attention to real problems. In addition, some schools still have the practice of emphasizing knowledge and neglecting practice in teaching so that It is difficult to develop the comprehensive quality of students. It can be seen that integrating the STEAM education concept into Science curriculum is an effective way to change the status quo.In view of the above problems, this study attempts to integrate the STEAM concept into the primary school science discipline, build a problem-centered science curriculum development framework in primary school. It emphasizes the cultivation of students' STEAM literacy, and tries to enhance students' multiple intelligence. In the curriculum organization, the real problem is decomposed into unit problems, and the comprehensive ability of students is improved in the process of solving a series of problems.then,a school is selected to carry out the curriculum case practice.First of all, this paper summarizes the current situation and trend of relevant research at home and abroad by consulting the literature related to STEAM education and primary school Science education.Clarify the connotation and characteristics of current primary school Science education and expound the relevant education theories applied.Analyze the elements of STEAM education mode, and explore the way of integrating STEAM education and primary Science curriculum, providing theoretical preparation for curriculum development and practical research.Secondly, design a primary framework for elementary science curriculum development under the guidance of STS theory and Multiple Intelligence theory, and integrate problems into all aspects of curriculum development. This framework focuses on cultivating students ' STEAM literacy and improving students' problem-solving abilities. It selects the course content from real problems, and organizes teaching in a way of generating learning problems-exploring problems independently-solving problems collaboratively-evaluating and reflecting problems-extending and extending problems. After that, the learning effect of the course "How Animals Reproduce" is analyzed in the teaching practice. Finally, the paper reflects on the previous theoretical analysis and practical results, and puts forward some useful strategies,so as to provide reference for promoting the integration of STEAM concept and subject curriculum. With the integration of STEAM concept,Science in primary school following the interdisciplinary principle, takes Science,Mathematics,Technology,Engineering and Art as the subject elements of curriculum, and transforms real problems into real curriculum contents.Curriculum problems and unit problems are interrelated based on students' learning and life reality. This mode of curriculum development breaks the tradition of teacher leading classroom.Student become the main body of learning, fully stimulate students' interest in learning. The design of curriculum activities is based on the scene that students are familiar with,in which teachers and students can participate. It could effectively promote teachers and students' development and achieve the overall goal:cultivate students' comprehensive quality in the process of problem solving, including independent inquiry ability,hands-on operation ability, teamwork ability, innovation ability and so on,so that students can become comprehensive talents adapting to social development in the future.
