The Relationship Between Negative Life Events,Future Self And Depression In High School Students

At present,our society is in a period of rapid development,which needs a large number of outstanding talents.the cultivation of outstanding talents needs to focus on the most critical period of their life growth as the future of the motherland,how to train young people to become outstanding talents is the focus of the society.In order to explore the frequency and stress intensity of negative life events suffered by adolescents,as well as the negative effects brought by these negative life events,to provide feasible suggestions for the growth of adolescents,and to create a learning and living environment that can make their physical and mental health growth has become the original intention of our research.Therefore,this study explores the negative life events and future time self that affect the emotional state of adolescents,especially those that lead to depression,and studies the influence mechanism of negative life events and future time self on depression.This study adopts questionnaire survey tools of Liu Chenxian's adolescent life events scale,Radloff s center for epidemiologic studies depression scale,and the future time self adjective questionnaire scale,the status of the negative life events and their level of depression was measured by 550 students of a high school in zhengzhou,to explore the relations among the negative life events,depression and future time self.Through descriptive statistics,variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis,regression analysis and independent sample t test for the obtained data,it is found that:(1)There were no significant differences in negative life events,future time self,depression in gender,grade,domicile location,and only child.(2)There was a significant positive correlation between negative life events and depression,a significant positive correlation between negative future time self,and a significant negative correlation between positive and future time self;There was also a significant negative correlation between positive future time self and depression,and a significant positive correlation between negative future time self and depression.(3)Negative life events had a predictive effect on positive future time self and depression,positive future time self had a negative predictive effect on depression,and positive future time self played a partial mediating role between negative future time events and depression.Negative life events had a predictive effect on negative future time self and depression,negative future time self had a positive predictive effect on depression,and negative future time self played a partial mediating role between negative life events and depression.Therefore,the negative life events,depression and future time self of high school students are closely related,and future time self plays an intermediary role between negative life events and depression.
