To meet increasingly growing demands of users for science,technology and culture as well as implement innovative development strategies,scientific popularization has gradually been emphasized by people,carriers of which are also showing a more diversified trend with developments of digital information and technologies.As an emerging technology,augmented reality(AR)technology has changed forms of traditional reading materials through integrations with them,which has received heated extolling from readers.Scientific popularization of AR in our country is also in a rapid developing stage,which is of great growing potentials,in addition,demands of the public and markets on scientific popularization products of AR are increasingly rising,thus,user experience of AR scientific popularization products influences market competitiveness of those products to a great extent.Through investigating and analyzing current situation of users in applying AR scientific popularization reading materials in our country,existing problems were discussed in this thesis,demand points of users were sorted out and a user experience model was built for AR scientific popularization reading materials based on user experience theory,then design considerations of AR scientific popularization reading materials were analyzed based on user model;a new evaluation index was then built for AR scientific popularization reading materials through analytic hierarchy process;finally,research results were applied to a practical topic about development of AR integrated media for campus security of college students,design practices were made,and user experience evaluation was conducted based on the evaluation index established in previous researches,so as to verify feasibility and accuracy of the above research results.A kind of innovative design method for AR scientific popularization reading materials based on user experience theory was discussed in this research,and a user experience evaluation model was established for products related to AR scientific popularization reading materials,aiming to promote design level and market competitiveness of them as well as provide directional guidance and achievement references for future researches on such kind of products.
