With the Internet entering the field of education,the online education industry is developing in full swing.At present,there are more than 100 million preschool children in my country,and the early childhood education market has huge potential.Providing high-quality Internet learning products for preschool children has become a reality.At present,Internet education is mainly for school-age children,and has little involvement in the field of preschool education.Early education products also need to be used with parents,which are inconsistent with the cognitive development of preschool children.In the above context,user research on preschool children can fill user groups which not involved in K12 education and provide theoretical support for the design of early childhood education products.In addition,augmented reality technology has begun to be used in the education field,and its interactivity,gameplay,and sense of space have greatly helped children’s cognitive development and perception capabilities.Based on theoretical research,this paper designed early education products based on augmented reality technology and aimed at children’s independent use,providing new ideas for the design of children’s education products.First of all,this paper summarized the developmental characteristics of preschool children in multiple dimensions of physiology and cognition through the study of child developmental psychology,and based on these specific characteristics,summarized the design principles based on child developmental psychology to provide theoretical support for subsequent design work.In order to understand the user characteristics of children in the 5G era,this paper constructed the user portrait of children’s education products through direct and indirect research on the primary and secondary users of children’s products.This paper used the observation method to analyze the level of children ’ s human-computer interaction,especially the ability to use augmented reality products,to provide a basis for product interaction design.This paper directly observed children ’ s reading behavior and indirectly issue questionnaires to children ’ s parents to understand children ’ s reading conditions and explore reading learning Pain points in the process.This paper used a questionnaire to investigate the use of children’s education applications and summarized user needs.Through the above research,this paper constructed a demand model of children’s reading application based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory.Then built a product function list based on the demand model,the cartoon visual design based on children’ s design principles,the low-level interactive design based on children ’ s development characteristics,and used Unity and AR Foundation SDK to achieve the core of text information enhancement,vocabulary multimedia display,and augmented reality writing Features.Finally,this paper used the PAITS educational application evaluation model which had five dimensions of education,art,content,interaction,and technology,used experimental and heuristic evaluation methods to comprehensively evaluate the product,and analyzed the education,design,and interaction of the application based on the evaluation results.Then put forward suggestions for improvement.This paper analyzes the cognitive characteristics and user needs of preschool children,summarizes the principles that should be followed in the design and development of preschool children’s educational products,constructs a reusable demand model of children’s educational products,and provides theoretical support for the design of children’s educational products.This paper uses user research of children to apply augmented reality technology to the design of children’s education products,designing an easy-to-use AR dictionary that meets the cognitive abilities of preschool children,providing children with effective independent reading tools and cultivating children’s independent learning ability,providing new design ideas for children’s early education products,and improve multimedia reading methods.
