Learning strategy is an important indicator to measure students' learning ability,and it is also an important factor to improve students' autonomous learning ability.At the same time,learning strategy also affects students' learning effect.Therefore,senior high school teachers should guide students to master learning strategies consciously and purposefully,making students learn biology combining with learning strategies to effectively improve their biological achievements.This study takes high school students as the research objects.Firstly,it discusses the current status of the use of biological learning strategies of senior high school students and the difference between the learning strategies of high-achieving students and under-achieving students,then it investigates and analyzes the relationship between senior high school students' biological learning strategies and academic achievements,and finally it designs an intervention experiment to improve the learning performance of biology.Based on the experimental results,it provides valuable reference and practical guidance to improve students' biological learning ability and the teaching quality of biology teachers.The research adopts documentary method,investigation method and experimental method.Firstly,this study compiled a questionnaire for senior high school biology learning strategies based on LASSI-HS.Then the questionnaire survey was conducted on a total of 400 senior high school students from 8 classes in a senior high school in Kaifeng.The correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted after the data were collected.Secondly,30 under-achieving students(15 under-achieving students from EC,15 from CC)were selected as the research subjects,the experiment,lasting three months,was designed based on the results of regression analysis to explore whether students' biological performance can be significantly improved in the experimental class.The results show that:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between learning strategies and biological learning achievements;(2)There is a significant difference in the level of using learning strategies between high-achieving students and under-achieving students;(3)Information processing is the most important factor affecting students' biological learning;(4)Information processing strategies effectively improves the biological learning of the subjects in EC.Based on the major findings above,this research offers the following suggestions:(1)Teachers should lay emphasis on learning strategies to improve students' learning strategies;(2)Teachers should focus on the under-achieving students and try to improve students' ability to use biological learning strategies;(3)Teachers should pay attention to information processing strategies and strengthen training in information processing strategies.
