The first learning stage of primary school is an essential stage that cultivating students'interest in literacy and writing.This requires teachers to pay attention to the teaching of literacy and writing,adopt strategies which is scientific and plentiful in the light of cognitive development of students to improve their ability of independent literary and writing,enhance their feelings of loving mother tongue.Therefore,this paper studies the teaching strategies of literacy and writing in the first learning stage of primary school.The main content of this paper have four chapters.The first chapter defines and analyzes the definition and basic concepts of literacy and writing teaching."Literacy teaching" means that teachers carry out literacy teaching activities in a purposeful and planned way on the basis of following the basic theory of Chinese Character,the rules of literacy teaching and the characteristics of students' cognitive development.This requires teachers to be clear about the content of literacy teaching,use multiple,interesting and systematic literacy teaching methods to help students master the "pronunciation,form and meaning" of Chinese characters,and build the relationship among the three parts.At the same time,it is necessary to use various ways to evaluate students' literacy results,enhance students' emotion of loving the motherland's language,and cultivate students' ability of independent literacy."Writing teaching" means that teachers carry out writing teaching activities in a purposeful and planned way on the basis of following the basic theory of Chinese Character,the rules of writing teaching and the characteristics of students' cognitive development.This requires teachers to be clear about the teaching content of writing,guide students to grasp the strokes,the radicals,the frame structure and stroke order rules of the Chinese characters.At the same time,teachers should also focus on the teaching process,in where using multiplex strategies to assist students in developing good writing habits and evaluating students' writing results.The basic concepts of literacy and writing teaching include three aspects.Firstly,teachers should teach Chinese characters in the light the configuration rules.Secondly,teachers should follow the teaching rules of Chinese characters,clarify the teaching focus,adopt multiple methods,expand evaluation methods,explore the culture of Chinese characters;Finally,teachers need to adopt the literacy and writing teaching strategies which is suitable for students in the first learning stage according to the development of students' perception,observation,attention and memory.In the second chapter,teachers,students and parents of Wenhe Primary School,Meiqi Primary School and Meiling Primary School in Yangzhou District are investigated by means of questionnaires and interviews to understand the current teaching status of literacy and writing,and the reasons for the problems analysis.According to the survey,in literacy teaching,students have enthusiasm in learning,but the way of studying literacy in life and the way of looking up dictionaries are often ignored.In addition,character form and meaning are the most difficult points in literacy learning,but some teachers' interpretation of Chinese characters does not conform to the rules of the Chinese characters configuration.The reasons are as follows:First,teachers lack knowledge of Chinese Characters;Secondly,the teaching of literacy needs a multiple and systematic methods,rather than simplex methods;Finally,students are easy to be influenced by electronic products.Excessive use of electronic products for C hinese character learning will increase students' inertia and reduce students'efficiency of learning Chinese characters.Besides,the writing teaching problems is following:the teaching content is more focused on the text reading,the class writing time is short,and the task is heavy;The teaching process and evaluation methods are too traditional and single;The writing teaching lacks the teacher's independent guidance;Students are less interested in writing study.The reasons are following:The orientation of exam-oriented education;The goal of writing teaching hasn't fully implemented;Students in the first learning stage have their unique characteristics of cognitive development.The third chapter puts forward the specific strategy of literacy teaching.Firstly,teachers should make full use of textbooks and extracurricular resources to enrich the content of literacy teaching.Secondly,it is necessary to adopt multiplex teaching methods to assist students in mastering the pronunciation,form and meaning of Chinese characters.Finally,it is necessary to properly use multiple methods to evaluate students' literacy results and motivate students to make continuous progress.The fourth chapter puts forward the specific strategy of writing teaching.First,teachers should adopt supplementary materials which is prepared for the teaching of writing.Secondly,it is necessary to refine the teaching content,guide students to learn basic strokes,frame structure and stroke order rules,realize the beauty of Chinese characters in form,structure and dynamics,and cultivate students' independent writing ability and aesthetic ability.Third,it is essential to pay attention to the teacher's guidance and students' writing habits.Finally,it is necessary to comprehensively use multiple methods to evaluate the writing results of students,and encourage students to continuously improve their writing quality.
