According to Piaget’s theory of stage of cognitive development,the cognitive development of students in the first learning period is in the transitional period from the pre-operational stage to the concrete operational stage.The concrete thinking of students is still dominant,while the abstract thinking gradually develops but is still underdeveloped.Therefore,for students,graphic graphics are more intuitive and simple than words.With the help of pictures,students can understand the learning content more intuitively,more easily and more deeply.And the unified compilation of the primary school Chinese textbooks arranged a large number of colorful,different forms of illustration,it is easy to arouse students’ interest in learning.At the same time,the rational use of illustration resources is also a clear requirement of the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition),and an indispensable part of cultivating students’ core literacy in Chinese subjects.In the first learning stage of Chinese teaching,strengthening picture and text teaching not only conforms to the cognitive development characteristics of students in this learning stage,but also helps realize the dual value of illustration and language in teaching.Based on this,this study focuses on the picture and text teaching of the first learning stage of Chinese in primary schools,taking the cultivation of students’ core literacy of Chinese subjects as the research focus,aiming to understand the current situation and possible problems of the picture and text teaching of the first learning stage of Chinese in primary schools,and further study the teaching strategies.This study firstly analyzes the research background and significance of the picture and text teaching of the first learning stage of primary school Chinese,combs and summarizes the literature research related to picture and text teaching,establishes three research methods of text analysis,questionnaire survey and interview to carry out the research,and clarifies and defines the relevant concepts and theoretical basis.Secondly,this study sorted out the overall number,three types and arrangement characteristics of illustrations in the first stage of primary school Chinese textbook.The characteristics are that the arrangement position of illustrations highlights the teaching focus of the text.The layout of the illustrations respects the students’ cognitive level,thus laying the foundation for further study.Thirdly,starting from the core quality of Chinese subject,centering on the four dimensions of language application,thinking ability,cultural confidence and aesthetic creation,the study discusses the necessary value of picture and text teaching in the first learning stage of Chinese textbook.Then,this study collected classroom records of primary school Chinese teachers through questionnaire survey and interview to understand the current situation of picture and text teaching in Chinese textbooks of the first learning stage.Based on the investigation results of the current situation,the problems existing in the picture and text teaching of Chinese textbooks in the first learning stage are clarified,and the deep-seated reasons are clarified.The problems and reasons mainly focus on the lack of scientific method of picture and text teaching,picture and text teaching form pattern;Deviate from the main goal of picture and text teaching,picture and text teaching content is fragmented;Lack of systematic evaluation of picture and text teaching,picture and text teaching evaluation of the three aspects of the single.Finally,from these three aspects,this paper provides specific strategies for the application of illustrations in Chinese teaching in the first learning stage of primary school.First of all,teachers need to improve the teaching method of picture and text,and create the implementation situation of Chinese curriculum;Secondly,teachers should cultivate students’ Chinese learning ability by centering on the goal of picture and text teaching.Finally,teachers should be good at using picture and text teaching evaluation to promote comprehensive evaluation of Chinese curriculum.In general,it is both necessary and feasible to use picture and text teaching in the first learning stage of primary school Chinese.By exploring the current situation and strategies of picture and text teaching in the first learning stage of Chinese textbooks,this study is expected to add impetus to the reform of primary school Chinese teaching methods and help to cultivate outstanding students with the core quality of Chinese subject. |
