From the perspective of professional education,social work field placement is an important step to test teaching quality.The effect of practice has a direct impact on students' cognition of social work practice and their future career choice.Therefore,it is necessary to study the dilemma of social work students' practice.As a new kind of public welfare project,the development of Community Childcare Services needs the participation of professional social service institutions.With the development of public welfare service,the combination of Childcare Services and social work is increasingly close.By interviewing the interns,social workers and community workers involved in the project,and analyzing some text materials such as the internship weekly diary,internship summary and cases of internship,this paper will take the Community Childcare Project as an example to analyze the difficulties of interns from the following three aspects.The intern's individual dilemmas are analyzed from three aspects:knowledge accumulation,perceptions or attitudes and professional practice.Concretely speaking,some interns have difficulties in knowledge accumulation and transformation;and sometimes they may experience confusion and self-doubt.In the process of establishing professional relationship,they will also encounter some difficulties.Due to practical constraints,it is difficult for them to complete the internship task requirements.They also encounter values and ethical challenges,and lack of connection and reflection.As for the difficulties of practice at the level of Community Childcare Project,it is mainly reflected in contents of the project,implementation process,outputs and effectiveness evaluation.To be specific,the distance between general social services and professional services is difficult to bridge.There is a lack of resources and autonomy for students in practice;interns passively accept the arrangement and lack sufficient discourse power;sometimes project goals replace professional service goals,which will lead to poor quality of project output;and there is no effective evaluation after service completion.As for the dilemma caused by factors at community level,it is mainly reflected in the non-cooperation of clients,excessive intervention and right pressure of the community;and the social environment lacks the essential recognition of interns and social workers.These also reflect that the conditions of professional practice are not mature enough,which leads to the practical difficulties of project implementers.In order to alleviate the difficulties of professional practice in Community Childcare Services,we should improve on the following aspects:the interns should change from three aspects of knowledge,attitudes and practice to achieve self-improvement.At the same time,institution and school should be committed to strengthening practice supervision,and standardizing pre-service training and practice evaluation;they should jointly create a good practice environment for social work students.In addition,community and society should treat social work and social workers rationally,and respect their efforts.Only by viewing the existence of social work in a scientific and reasonable way and affirming the value of social work,can we promote social work to become an important force in building a harmonious society.
