Mathematical operation is one of the important contents of junior middle school mathematics teaching content,and also the foundation of mathematics discipline.It runs through the entire mathematical knowledge system,and is one of the basic mathematical abilities that junior middle school students should have and master flexibly.It has a far-reaching impact on students' thinking development and further learning.Based on the investigation of the students in grade two,the author analyzes the current situation and influencing factors of the development of students'mathematical operation ability by means of quantitative and qualitative analysis,and then puts forward some Suggestions to improve the development of students'mathematical operation ability.The main research methods of this paper are literature method,interview method,questionnaire survey method and data analysis method.The main problems to be solved are:(1)Analysis of the basic situation of middle school students and the overall development level of mathematical operation ability;(2)analyze the overall development level of middle school students' mathematical operation ability;(3)the development level of students' computing ability in experimental class,key class and regular class and the gap between them;(4)the influence of students' gender on the development of computing ability;(5)analyze the causes of the current situation of middle school students' mathematical operation ability and put forward training Suggestions;The research idea of this paper is mainly divided into the following stages:(1)according to the previous research results,combined with their own practical experience,the preparation of mathematical operation ability level test paper and questionnaire;(2)select a class for prediction and conduct data analysis;(3)modify the test paper and questionnaire according to the data results;(4)four classes of grade two were selected for the final test,which lasted 40 minutes,and 187 valid papers were collected;(5)using Excel and SPSS software to analyze the acquired data,analyze the factors affecting students' mathematical ability,and propose reasonable and effective training Suggestions accordingly.Through the data analysis of the questionnaire,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)students do not have a thorough understanding of mathematical concepts,formulas,theorems and laws,and their memory is not firm;(2)students will have a fear of difficulties,do not have the courage to overcome difficulties,can not adhere to the operation,do not estimate and check the habit;(3)students attach great importance to mathematical thinking and methods,believing that they are of great help to mathematical learning,but cannot be used flexibly in mathematical operations;(4)the teaching level of teachers and the demonstration role of blackboard writing in the teaching process have a positive effect on the development of students' computing ability.Through the analysis of the test paper,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)the overall operation level of students is in urgent need of improvement,with a high failure rate and a large number of students in low sections;(2)students have a simple understanding of concepts and formulas,and cannot flexibly transform and transfer knowledge;(3)the performance of the experimental class is obviously better than that of the key class and the parallel class,but the difference between the results of the key class and the parallel class is not large;(4)Male students in grade two are slightly better than female students in all aspects,such as average score,excellence rate and passing rate.However,gender has no significant effect on the development of students'mathematical operation levelThrough interviews with teachers,the common problems existing in students'mathematical operations can be analyzed:(1)students are careless in doing exercises,and often miss important information;(2)do not develop good operation habits,do not like to calculate by hand,rely on calculator too much,and do not estimate and check the habit;(3)students do not have a solid grasp of basic knowledge,cannot transfer knowledge,and do not have a thorough understanding of calculation algorithms.Based on the above data analysis results,this paper puts forward Suggestions on the cultivation of junior middle school students' mathematical operation ability from the following three aspects:(1)attach importance to the cultivation of non-intelligence factors;(2)improve the cognitive structure of mathematics;(3)to weaken the influence of objective factors.
