Computational ability is one of the ten core concepts in the mathematics curriculum standard for compulsory education(2011 Edition),which was officially published in January2012,it is also a big mathematical subject which has been widely studied by experts and scholars.Mathematical operation is the basis of junior high school mathematics learning.Mathematical operation ability is one of the basic mathematical abilities of junior high school students,and it is an important support for the development and cultivation of other mathematical literacy.The cultivation and promotion of mathematical operation ability of junior high school students is not only the continuous deepening of mathematical operation ability of junior high school students,but also the foundation for the development of mathematical operation ability of junior high school students.In addition,during the period of supporting teaching,the author observed and analyzed the students' mathematics test papers and their homework,and found that the level of students' computing ability is not high,which affects the development of their own ability.Firstly,this paper analyzes and defines mathematical ability through literature research method,and summarizes the previous researches on the concept,current situation,influencing factors and training strategies of mathematical operation ability.Secondly,it expounds the research design of problem discussion from the aspects of research ideas,research framework,methods,tools,objects and processes.Based on the analysis of the students' homework,it is found that the main shortcomings of the students' operation ability are:(1)the writing is not standardized;(2)the weak ability to mine the topic information;(3)the memory of definitions,formulas,rules and theorems is vague;(4)the inability to choose the operation method;(5)the lack of mathematical thinking;(6)the lack of inspection,inspection and Reflection on the operation results.Then the data of the survey test paper is analyzed to get the current situation of students' computing ability:there are obvious differences in the abilities between the characteristic class and the parallel class,and the students in the characteristic class are significantly higher than those in the parallel class;there are significant differences in the ability to choose simple algorithm,the ability to abstract and summarize,the ability to comprehensively use,and the total score of operation ability between foreign language characteristic schools and non foreign language characteristic schools.The students in foreign language characteristic schools are higher than those in non foreign language characteristic schools;there is only significant difference in comprehensive ability between urban school and township school.The students in township school are higher than those in urban school.Finally,according to the current situation,combined with the previous training strategies and their own practical teaching experience,this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the operational ability of junior two students: cultivating habits,enhancing interest,paying attention to the teaching of computing,and paying attention to the simple thinking of computing.The cultivation of dimension,the analysis of the characteristics of formula structure,and the teaching of thinking method are also discussed.
