Based on the framework of Chinese students' key competency(issued in 2016)and chemistry curriculum criteria(2017 edition)in general high schools(issued in 2018),the research investigates chemistry key competency in German gymnasium schools,and compares the differences in assessment for learning between German teachers and Chinese teachers by questionnaire.Adopting action study,case study and literature study to investigate assessment for learning based on chemistry key competency in German gymnasium schools.The main content of this research is chemistry key competency in German gymnasium schools and assessment in teaching process guided by this principle(take chemistry key competency from Lander Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as an example),especially in how to improve developments of students by assessment for learning in teaching process.Three rounds of action study were carried out in teaching of Sino-German class.They are bilingual teaching about method and content of teaching,quizzes on courses and examinations(the style of exam)and skilled works(assessment for learning in works).The results show that assessment for learning based on key competency can contribute teaching activities efficiently and promote effections of students' learning.According to investigate the key competency from the Lander,some problems and challenges have been found when teachers want to operate teaching actions defined by Chinese key competency framework.
