In order to comprehensively promote quality education,China keeps exploring and deepening the reform of curriculum in basic education,which strives to continuously promote education equity and improve teaching quality.However,the students with biology learning difficulties generally exist in various of schools during the teaching process of biology in high school.These students who often fail to achieve the biology learning goals and lack relatively biological core literacy affect the quality of biology teaching improved to a certain extent,so many schools have begun to pay attention to them and actively carried out transformation work.Based on the current status of biology teaching in high school,the author takes Wusheng Middle School of Sichuan Province as the research object in the end by investigating the public middle schools in Guang'an City,Sichuan Province,comprehensively considering the source of students,teaching equipment,teachers and combining with the practicability and operability of the research.This paper,where the author will investigate the factors of the students with biology learning difficulties and research on the transformation strategies in the first grade of Wusheng Middle School,commits to help biology teachers comprehensively understand the current status of the students,provide advice for teaching work of biology,provide theoretical basis for the transformation work of the students with biology learning difficulties at the classes and then improve the teaching quality of biology in this school.On the basis of consulting the relevant research literatures of the senior high school students with biology learning difficulties and combining with the setting of classes in the first grade of Wusheng Middle School,the author finally choose the students of 9 classes who from 3 levels with the rocket class,the key class and the parallel class as respondents with the purpose of finding out the causes of the students with biology learning difficulties and proposing corresponding transformation strategies by questionnaire survey,teacher interview,classroom observation,statistical analysis of data,etc.The judgment of the students with biological learning difficulties is based on the answers of questions 6 and 7 in the first part of the student questionnaire,that students who think that biology learning is difficult at this stage and don't satisfied with the biology performance at present are seen as the students with biology learning difficulties.Through data statistics and analysis,it is found that the causes of the students withbiology learning difficulties in the first grade of this school are mainly caused by students' family education,interpersonal communication,school management,and social environment.Parents of these students don't pay enough attention to their children's biology learning and don't give a hand and resources in biology learning.There is no strong atmosphere with biology learning between students and students,lacking of mutual learning and mutual assistance.The school lacks extracurricular activities or competitions related to biology and the classroom does not fully stimulate students' interest in biology,which lead to some students be tired of biology learning.The society in where the students live lacks the environment and facilities for biology learning,and the local government does not give enough support to biology teaching in schools.At the same time,the students with biology learning difficulties also have problems of different degrees in their biology learning,which are mainly manifested as lacking of autonomy and positivity in biology learning,lacking of clear learning attitude and correct learning methods,and poor classroom performance.In addition,the investigation also found that the class level,the type of subject preference,the interest in biology learning and the purpose of biology learning of the students with biology learning difficulties can affect the causes of theirs.According to the results of the causes of the students with biology learning difficulties and the interview suggestions of the biology teachers,the author will mainly Put forward the transformation strategies around four aspects on students' own education,school education,family education and social education in this paper.It is hoped that through cooperation at all levels,the students with biology learning difficulties can be actively engaged in biology learning,improving their learning status,and the biology teachers can be better to carry out biology teaching,so as to achieve the requirements of the new curriculum standards in biology teaching in high school and help school teaching meet the needs of the development of basic education in the new era.
