In his report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to build a strong country in education,accelerate the modernization of education,and train modern talents with comprehensive and distinctive characteristics.The comprehensive implementation of the new college entrance examination reform has provided an important guarantee for the training of modern talents.Under the new college entrance examination system,biology has become one of the most popular subjects,but the number of poor students in biology is also on the rise year by year.The existence of the phenomenon of learning difficulty is not only conducive to the overall development of students,but also affects the cultivation of the core quality of biology,which has attracted extensive attention from the majority of front-line biology teachers and educators.Aimed at senior three students with learning difficulty in biology,this study combines the actual school orientation,analyzes and explores causes of learning difficulty,researches and develops targeted,operational strategy and implement to improve their personal comprehensive learning ability,break the learning trap,optimize the Classroom Teaching efficiency,and ultimately provides necessary theoretical basis and practical reference to cultivate students' biology literacy,promote students comprehensive personalized development and realize the goal of education fairness.This study adopts the analysis and research strategy of combining questionnaire survey and case study,selects one School,a provincial second class ordinary high school,as the typical representative of the general high school,and takes 394 students of biology selection science in Grade 3 of 2018 as the research object.Firstly,the investigation and analysis of their biology learning were carried out.According to the standard of learning difficulty,14 students with severe learning difficulty(3.55%)and 68 students with ordinary learning difficulty(17.26%)were selected from the senior three students of this school.Then from further investigation and analysis of the trapped students individual internal and external factors,I found that as an ordinary high school senior students,the external causes of their biology learning difficulty are mainly manifested in the lack of learning motivation and interest,weak will,bad learning habits and methods,etc.,of which the main reason is a lack of confidence,lack of effective learning methods and good study habits while that of students with severe learning difficulty is the serious lack of self-confidence and self-discipline,weak learning foundation,listening to the lectures carelessly,casually finishing homework,inefficient learning methods and severe learning difficulty;meanwhile,the external causes of biology learning difficulty is mainly reflected in the teachers' low attention,reasonable family concern,etc.,of which teachers' too low attention to the poor students is more prominent,and due to prolonged state in learning difficulty and extremely low parents' focus on their biology learning and expectations,students with severe learning difficulty will ignore or even give up learning biology.In terms of the causes of students' learning difficulty,this research has formulated transformation strategies of "carrying out learning method guidance,changing teachers' teaching concepts,and strengthening multi-party communication to build educational synergy",which mainly includes:(1)Analyze the psychological characteristics of their learning difficulty,and then conduct appropriate intervention to their existing learning methods,so that they can find suitable learning methods in continuous learning practice and finally realize the training goal of correcting their learning motivation,cultivating their learning interest and exercising their learning;(2)Teachers should change the teaching point of view,increase the emotional communication with students with learning difficulty,give students positive expectations,pay attention to process evaluation,find their advantages timely,often encourage and praise,guide students with learning difficulty to correct attribution of failure,enhance their selfconfidence,to help students with learning difficulty formulate and implement plans to achieve appropriate goals and enhance their self-discipline,and explain the use of example power to cultivate the strong will of students with learning difficulty through the history of biological science;(3)Strengthen communication with various parties,communicate with parents actively,seek support and cooperation from parents,build a joint educational force,and promote the smooth transformation of students with learning difficulty.Based on the analysis of the causes of learning difficulty and the formulation of effective transformation strategies,this study further selected three representative students with difficulty in biology(Xiao Zhao,Xiao Ma and Xiao Li)to carry out case transformation practice,to verify the effectiveness of transformation strategies.Although Xiao Zhao studies hard,improper learning methods leads to ordinary learning difficulty;Xiao Ma is smart and flexible,but he has severe learning difficulty due to bad learning habits and disharmonious parent-child relationship.Xiao Li is optimistic,cheerful and friendly,but the influence of the family environment of useless learning,lack of learning motivation,improper learning methods lead to serious learning difficulty.After six-month targeted transformation strategy practice,the three poor students can be aware of their own existing problems,combines their own reality to correct learning attitude,actively improve family parent-child relationship,resist the influence of learning useless theory,set reasonable learning goals,develop their appropriate learning habits and master them,so that in three monthly examination and the final exam,their grades are rising steadily and marked achievements are scored in the transformation.As a second-class ordinary high school in Shandong province,to a certain extent,Senior Middle School reflects the overall level of our province ordinary high schools.This study analyses the causes of the senior three students with learning difficulty in biology,transformation strategy and the case study,enriches Jinan ordinary high schools in teaching and research in the field of the research content,and provides valuable reference and teaching practice for the same level high school teachers in the transformation work of students with learning difficulty.
