Research On Social Work Intervention In The Plight Of Rural Poor Women Caused By Disease

Poverty is still a problem in today's society.According to the current prominent characteristics of the poor group,poverty caused by disease is one of the most prominent factors,and it is also a "weak link" in people's livelihood that must be addressed to win the battle against poverty.The most special group,women in poverty,is often overlooked.The group of women in poverty due to illness has fewer types of social support,smaller scale and generally low quality,which makes it difficult for them to express their real needs and easily fall into many difficulties.Their own experience,social environment,economic pressure and other problems make them lose confidence in life,difficult to get rid of the vicious circle.In recent years,with the great support from the government and all sectors of society,the living conditions of women in poverty due to illness have changed to a certain extent.From a macro perspective,this group receives more material support.From the micro perspective,the psychological and spiritual level,the motivation level of self-development and the social support network level of the poor women due to illness are slightly insufficient,and the effective utilization rate of their own resources and surrounding resources is also low.The overall form is relatively simple,resulting in less obvious help effect.This paper takes lv and Huang,two poor women in CM town of TZ city,as examples,and applies the professional concept and method of social work in practice.By carrying out case work and group work,according to the characteristics and particularity of the service objects,individual services are provided to help them overcome difficulties in psychological,economic and social communication,regain confidence in life,get out of difficulties and realize true "self-help".At the same time,it has accumulated some experience for social work to intervene in the plight of poor women in rural areas.
