With the formulation of the document "development plan for a new generation of artificial intelligence",education administrative departments of provinces and cities and primary and secondary schools all over the country have responded to this,actively carrying out programming education in primary and secondary schools,among which the primary school stage is mainly focused on Scratch graphical programming.Programming in the present study was to elementary school teachers in Scratch selection and design of case and case teaching implementation of the status quo,on the basis of combining teachers before class teaching design case analysis teaching present situation of using Scratch programming education in elementary school,and in view of the existing problem of case teaching in primary schools Scratch programming analysis of the causes and put forward the optimization strategy,for teachers in primary schools Scratch provide improvement ideas in the process of case teaching.The main content of this paper is divided into seven parts:The first part expounds the research background of the problem and the reason of the problem.In the era of artificial intelligence,programming education has become a global trend,and the use of Scratch cases is very common in Scratch teaching in primary schools in China.Therefore,the author proposes to investigate the teachers'understanding of case teaching,the selection and design of cases,and the process of case teaching.The second part mainly defines the related concepts such as case and case teaching,and elaborates the differences and connections between case teaching and example teaching,example teaching and project teaching.In addition,through the analysis of existing research,the role of case teaching in primary school Scratch case teaching and the requirements for the selection and design of teaching cases and the process of case teaching in Scratch case teaching were obtained,laying the theory for subsequent research basis.The third part expounds the research ideas and methods of this paper,specifically involving questionnaire survey method,text analysis method and case analysis.For example,the research on the case selection and design of Scratch is the combination of questionnaire survey and content analysis.The fourth part is the core content of this study,which involves the analysis of the application status of case teaching in Scratch programming education in primary schools.The advantages of the selection and design of Scratch teaching cases include that the selection of cases is based on teaching objectives;The case involves the flexible use of a variety of instructions;The case theme conforms to the age characteristics of the students;Its disadvantage lies in the one-sided pursuit of instruction learning,the content of the plot is unreasonable;Too much emphasis on fun,the content of the case lacks meaning;Arbitrary case role,interaction design is not rigorous;Limited to programming,multi-disciplinary integration is not obvious.The advantages of the case teaching process are that the case teaching procedure is complete,the teacher creates a good atmosphere,and the students are organized to analyze and discuss.Can play the leading role of the teacher,summarize and evaluate the content of the case.Its disadvantage is that the case discussion outline is not enough,and students seldom participate in the evaluation summary.The reasons for the shortcomings of the application of case teaching in Scratch programming education in primary schools,including the teachers' reading from books and not modifying the textbook cases.Cases do not meet the needs of teaching,the teacher's ability to make up or adapt is insufficient;Students are interested in games and have different programming skills.There is insufficient support for external environmental conditions such as parents and schools.The fifth part mainly puts forward the optimization suggestions for Scratch case teaching.Among them,in case selection and design optimization,teachers should combine students' existing experience and focus on life-oriented design;they should be guided by computational thinking to cultivate problem-solving skills;and they should integrate multidisciplinary knowledge based on the STEAM education concept.In the optimization of the case teaching process,the general steps of the teacher to implement Scratch case teaching are concretely divided into four links:creating a situation and introducing a case;analyzing the case and clarifying the goal;writing a script to solve the problem;evaluating works and optimizing the procedure.It is further suggested that teachers should provide discussion outlines for students' analysis and discussion of cases,design reasonable time for problem discussion,arrange the discussion time reasonably,predict unexpected problems that may occur during the discussion,develop evaluation scales,and organize student self-evaluation and mutual evaluation.The sixth part mainly summarizes the research,expounds the innovation points and shortcomings of the research,and prospects the future research direction.
