With the rapid advance of globalization, cultural adaptation profoundly affects everyone.Whether in first-tier cities or remote villages,as individual members of social relationships,it is necessary to pass on and maintain the culture of the people based on adaptation to their own culture. This is what cultural adaptation is all about.Among the culturally adapted groups,of particular note is the development of the cultural adaptation of schoolchildren. In the context of modernization, the world facing schoolchildren has become visible through the rapid development of society.Especially with the widespread use of modern science and technology, giving them a superior space for cultural adaptation. However, for remote ethnic minority areas, the cultural adaptation of students still faces many problems, such as the absence of family education, the disappearance of traditional culture, the backwardness of information technology, etc. These factors directly affect the cultural adaptation of students in school. However, according to the available research results, there is relatively little research on the cultural adaptation of school students in ethnic minority areas. In this paper, the students of Longtou Elementary School,Baojing County,Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, are selected as the study subjects, and the problems faced by the students in the process of cultural adaptation in school and the factors affecting them are analyzed in depth. The study found that the loss of national culture in modernization, the separation of school education from national culture and the clash between national culture and modern civilization have become the main problems of cultural adaptation of Tujia primary school students at present, while the main factors affecting their cultural adaptation are mainly the conflict between village construction and villagers' space, the separation between school education and rural communities, and the rise of “new education”to increase cultural differences between urban and rural areas. To this end,an analysis of these issues and influencing factors will provide useful references and lessons for future research on the cultural adaptation of students from ethnic minority areas in schools. This thesis uses case studies to reflect on the transmission of ethnic culture and the development of ethnic education, etc. It aims to enhance the ability of primary school students in ethnic minority areas to adapt to the culture at school through reflection.
