In junior middle school reading teaching,effective questioning is of great significance to Chinese reading teaching.Effective questioning can focus students' attention and inspire thinking;promote teacher-student communication and timely feedback information;highlight student status and help break through difficult teaching points.This study uses literature research,case analysis and observation methods to study the current situation of Classroom Questioning in junior middle school reading teaching,analyze the existing problems and reasons,and propose effective questioning strategies.The problems in junior middle school reading teaching questioning are manifested in four aspects:students lack of enthusiasm for answering questions,improper difficulty of questions;vague questions content and inaccurate questions expression;incorrect timing of questioning and questioning only care about form;the evaluation is single and the content is one-sided.There are four main reasons:the lack of interaction between teachers and students,teachers ignore individual differences;insufficient preparation of lessons,questions design deviates from teaching goals;attach importance to presupposition rather than generation;lack of teaching wit and outdated evaluation concept.This paper puts forward four ways of improvement,which are:the construction of classroom atmosphere;the presupposition of questions;the generation of questions and the evaluation of answers.
