With the proposal of innovative talents,teachers pay more attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability in classroom teaching and pay more attention to students' emotional experience and interests.As an innovative teaching method,situational teaching,as an innovative teaching method,tends to encourage students to actively explore knowledge.It is related to the cultivation of students' thinking ability and the guidance of positive emotions.It has a positive import on arousing high school students' interest in learning and popularizing quality education,which has been recognized and implemented by many researchers at present.During the internship,it was found that students' enthusiasm for politics was not very high,and teachers' application of situational teaching method in teaching was of great help to improve students' interest and attract their attention.However,current researches on situational teaching method mainly focus on primary school or Chinese subjects,while in high school,there are not many researches on situational teaching method,especially in one book.Based on the current situation of the study,the paper makes an in-depth study on the situational teaching method to enrich and improve the situational teaching method.The thesis takes some liberal arts students and political teachers of X high school in Zhumadian City of Henan Province as the object of investigation,including four parts.Firstly,it introduces the connotation,theoretical basis,advantages and constraints of situational teaching method.Secondly,the necessity and value of the application of situational teaching method in teaching are analyzed.Through the introduction of this chapter,the effectiveness and positive influence of the application of situational teaching method in classroom teaching are further understood.Then,questionnaire survey and interview survey were conducted among teachers and students through empirical investigation to understand the application of situational teaching method and its influencing factors in the teaching of cultural life in high school.Through empirical investigation,it is found that teachers still have four problems in the application of situational teaching method.In the process of situational teaching,teachers will create situations in order to improve students' learning interest and enliven the classroom atmosphere.However,the selected situations are not closely related to the teaching content.Second,teachers create the situation in a single way.In the survey,it was found that most teachers only created situations by means of pictures or videos,and rarely used methods similar to physical demonstration and personal experience.Thirdly,the timing of situational teaching method is inaccurate.In the process of applying situational teaching method,teachers are easy to influence the teaching progress because of the cohesion between situations or the interaction time.Fourth,the student participation is not high.As the situation selected by the teacher cannot attract students' interest,the students' participation in class is not high.Finally,after sorting and analyzing the survey data,this paper summarizes the optimization strategy of situational teaching method applied to the textbook "cultural life" in high school,focusing on three aspects: first,teachers need to apply the skills of situational teaching method and strengthen the implementation skills of learning situational teaching method.Second,in the process of applying situational teaching method,we should maintain the coherence of situational teaching and make various connections.Thirdly,in the aspect of teaching evaluation,we should change the single evaluation method and advocate the use of diversified teaching evaluation.In addition,according to the problems existing in the teaching practice of situational teaching method,teaching cases are designed to provide theoretical significance for teachers to apply situational teaching method and improve their skills in applying situational teaching method.The situational teaching method has positive significance in improving students' enthusiasm in learning politics and cultivating innovative thinking.Therefore,it is necessary to study the application of situational teaching method in high school "cultural life" teaching.
