This study is mainly divided into four parts.The first part mainly analyzes the background of the topic selection based on the new curriculum standard and the characteristics of the textbook of "cultural life";analyzes the theoretical significance and the practical significance of situational teaching method;and expounds the research status of situational teaching method in foreign and domestic countries,and points out that literature research method,practice investigation method and experience summary method are the main research methods of this paper.The second part mainly analyzes the content of "our National Spirit" lesson in "Cultural Life" and puts forward that the teaching emphasis of "our national spirit" is "the Intension and Extension of National Spirit" and the difficulty of teaching "the Strength of Chinese Culture","Carrying Forward and Practicing National Spirit";The basic situation of students' cognition and emotion is analyzed.The third part is the focus of this research,and analyzes the concept,characteristics and value of situational teaching method;The application of situational teaching method in "cultural life" "our national spirit" is designed.This paper puts forward three steps of the application of situational teaching method in "our national spirit" of "cultural life" :first,to stimulate students' interest,to mobilize the students' feelings with questions and video situations;second,to promote students to participate in the experience,to help students understand the situation with speculative situations and role-playing situations;then,to use life practice survey to help students internalize knowledge with live situations and social practices.The fourth part mainly explains the author's thinking on the problems in the practical application of the situational teaching method,and puts forward some improvement measures and suggestions:the carefully selection of material cases in the creation of situations;highlighting the main body of students in situational teaching;comprehensive use of a variety of teaching methods;to constantly enhance the effectiveness of situational teaching methods.
