The "After-class activities" column is an important part of the textbook content.This column is closely connected with the main text teaching content.The content is lively and varied.It also has the important status and function in the middle school history teaching.it is not only help students review to consolidate the body of knowledge,and extend the textbook content,more important is that it also helps students historical thinking of secondary excitation,promote the history in teaching implementation and carry out the core literacy,also make the teacher in the teaching practice step by step to raise their professional ability.However,so far,the exploration of the textbook "after-class activities" is still in the preliminary stage.so it is necessary to carry out extensive investigation and systematic research on the history textbook "after-class activities " column.In order to have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the current situation of the concrete application of "after-class activities" in the history teaching of middle school in the eighth grade textbook of junior middle school history compiled by the department,the basic situation of teachers and students using this column is presented with data through the methods of questionnaire and interview.The results show that both teachers and students have shortcomings in using textbooks for after-school activities.The reasons are as follows: first,students have poor independent learning ability and great learning pressure,so they have no time and conditions.Second,teachers are under great pressure in teaching,so they have no time to pay attention to the column teaching,and they lack subjective understanding of the importance of "after-class activities" column in the teaching,and the teaching form is single,so it is difficult to arouse students' interest.Aiming at the existing problems,in order to better develop and apply this column,this paper puts forward feasible teaching strategies from the three perspectives of school,teacher and student.First,the school should take active measures to support the development of "after-school activities" column.Second,teachers should deepen their understanding and explore the value of "after-class activities".Third,students should enhance their awareness and strengthen the study of "after-class activities" column.In order to further develop the teaching practice strategy of "after class activities" in textbooks,the author also reflects on the teaching practice of "after class activities" in textbooks as a whole.In order to provide the front-line teachers with specific and detailed teaching suggestions,selecting the eighth grade textbook of junior middle school history "after-class activities" column to design specific teaching cases,hope to provide some references for the history teaching practice of middle school.
