A Study On The Alignment Of Geography Textbooks And Curriculum Standards In Senior High School Based On SEC Model

Since the promulgation of the general high school geography curriculum standard(2017 Edition),the geography textbooks of the people's Education Edition under its guidance have been put into use one after another.In addition to the people's Education Edition,the geography textbooks of Lu Education Edition,Xiang Education Edition and Chinese chart edition were published immediately.In view of the wide range and large number of people's education textbooks,which are representative of many editions of textbooks,this study takes the people's education edition as the research object,selects one compulsory textbook and 2017 edition of geography curriculum standards for consistency analysis,and uses the SEC consistency analysis model widely used in the current curriculum consistency research to quantify the knowledge content and The consistency of cognitive level provides teachers with thinking and suggestions in using textbooks.The specific research process of this study is to establish a two-dimensional framework of "content subject ×cognitive level" by referring to the SEC consistency analysis model.In terms of content theme,study the 2017 curriculum standard,and determine 12 content themes based on the 12 content requirements in geography 1.In terms of cognitive level,the revised bloom educational goal classification is adopted.The cognitive level includes memory,understanding,application,analysis,evaluation and creation.In-depth analysis of curriculum standards and textbooks,in terms of cognitive level,there is no knowledge content related to evaluation and creation level,so this study will ultimately determine cognitive level as four levels of memory,understanding,application and analysis,and code them as A,B,C and D in turn.Secondly,the three coders discuss the standard of coding,establish the two-dimensional matrix of "content subject × cognitive level" of curriculum standard and textbook respectively,get the coding statistical data,use SPSS to calculate Kendal correlation coefficient of the three coders' coding data,and determine the final coding data on the basis of good correlation.Finally,Porter consistency formula is used to calculate the consistency coefficient between the two,and the conclusion is drawn through the analysis of surface graph and bar graph.The research results show that:from the porter coefficient obtained from the porter consistency formula,it can be seen that the geography compulsory textbook of people's Education Edition and the curriculum standard of 2017 edition do not have statistically significant consistency in terms of knowledge content and cognitive level at the 0.05 statistical level,and the degree of consistency between the two is relatively low.It can be seen from the drawing of curved surface and bar chart that the curriculum is relatively concentrated in the knowledge content of theme 1 "the universe environment where the earth is located",theme 4 "landform" and theme 8 "the nature and movement of sea water".The textbook is relatively concentrated in theme 1 "the universe environment where the earth is located",theme 4 "landform",Theme 2 "the circle structure of the earth" and theme 6 "the atmospheric heating process",compared with the curriculum The number of key knowledge points in textbooks is large and scattered.On the cognitive level,the cognitive level of curriculum standard focuses on Level B(understanding),followed by level a(memory),with the low-level cognitive level as the main level.Textbooks are mainly level a(memory),followed by level B(understanding),a small amount of knowledge involves a higher level of cognitive level.In addition,through the in-depth analysis of textbooks,in terms of knowledge content,people's edition textbooks cover all the content requirements of the curriculum standard,and expand on this basis.In terms of cognitive level,textbooks meet the minimum cognitive level requirements of curriculum standards,and involve a higher level of cognitive level.Based on the above research,the author puts forward some suggestions for teachers to use the geography compulsory textbook of Human Education Edition:teachers should study and grasp the curriculum standard in combination with the interpretation of curriculum standard,grasp the design ideas of textbooks in combination with the supporting textbook teaching book,and reasonably handle the difficulty and content of textbooks in combination with the teaching practice.
