The study of conic curves is very important.It is the hot and difficult content of the college entrance examination and the main content of analytic geometry in the high school stage.It is of great significance for students to use the combination of numbers and shapes to solve problems.High school students learn to use the combination of numbers and shapes to solve problems,which is helpful for the study of geometry and algebra,and has good training in analyzing problems,solving problems,innovative thinking,flexible divergent thinking,etc.This is also what we learn in mathematics.Where the value lies.Improve your ability by learning mathematical knowledge,and the chapter on conic curves is a good training content for the improvement of students' ability in terms of difficulty and thinking training methods.However,most students are struggling to study this chapter.Ellipse,hyperbola,and parabola involve more knowledge points.In terms of definitions,ellipse and hyperbola must master the second definition in addition to the first definition.How can their standard equations be derived?The derivation process requires a lot of computing power for students.The combination of conic curves and straight lines will lead to various problems.The calculation of comprehensive problems is very large,and students are basically afraid of conic curves.So what difficulties do students encounter in learning conic curves?How can the teacher help the students to solve the difficulties encountered?Give students more confidence in solving problems while learning the conic curve.This article uses questionnaires,test papers,interviews,classroom observations,teaching cases,literature surveys and other methods to understand the high school students' views on conic curve learning,learning status and existence by using 208 students in the fourth grade of our school.Through investigation and analysis,we summarized the five major problems of high school students' learning cones:fear,passive learning,weak computing ability,and weak thinking methods.Aiming at these five reasons that affect the learning of conic curves,combined with teaching research and reference materials,six methods to improve the learning effectiveness of students' conic curves are proposed in order to solve the obstacles and difficulties for students to learn conic curves,and break through the teaching of conic curves.Content to achieve good teaching results.
