Due to the limitation of their own intelligence, children with mental retardation have obstacles and defects in cognition, communication and behavior, which easily lead to different types and forms of problem behaviors, which may be their only or most effective way of communication. The aggressive behavior of the mentally retarded children is one of the common problem behaviors. It affects the improvement of their communication ability and the development of their social adaptability, greatly hinders their study and life, brings harm and trouble to the people around them, and also brings great interference to the classroom teaching of the special education teachers. They urgently need to deal with these problem behaviors Effective intervention strategies. The intervention of problem behaviors of special children has always been a very important research direction in the field of special education.Among many intervention methods, positive behavior support has been widely recognized and used, which has obvious advantages in solving the problem behavior of students. The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of using positive behavior support to intervene the aggressive behavior of children with moderate mental retardation.Taking a child with moderate mental retardation who has aggressive behavior in different degrees in the classroom and in life as the research object,a cross situational and multi baseline design with a single subject research method was adopted.Based on the functional evaluation of the target behavior,a positive behavior support plan was developed, and a proactive control strategy was used Strategy, ecological environment change strategy, behavior teaching strategy and consequence handling strategy intervene the biting problem behavior of the case in the classroom and between class situation. The self variable of this study is the intervention program of positive behavior support, because the variable is the aggressive behavior of a case. The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Positive behavior support has immediate and sustained effects on the reduction and reduction of aggression in this case. The frequency of aggression in this case is significantly reduced, and it can still maintain a high level of intervention after withdrawal of intervention.2.Functional assessment plays an important role in the implementation of intervention.3.The positive behavior support plan has good social validity, and the relevant personnel of the case hold a positive attitude towards the implementation and effect of the study. The researchers suggest that the positive behavior support plan should serve the whole life of the case, and pay attention to flexible adjustment of the positive behavior support plan and strategy in the process of implementation, and also comprehensively consider the selection of research methods..Finally,the researchers reflect on the existing problems of this study. In the future research,we should pay attention to the generalization effect of intervention effect in different situations, establish and improve the incentive mechanism of researchers.
