The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly points out that "all the work of the army must be based on the improvement of combat effectiveness and focus on the ability to fight and win." One of the fundamental means to improve the combat effectiveness of the army is to improve the level of military physical training.The imperfect content system and unscientific training implementation are the practical problems existing in our military physical ability training,and the field of competitive sports covers many processes of sports activities:competitive competition,training management and sports recovery,etc.;as well as scientific and novel training methods:psychological,intelligent,physical,technical and tactical training;the research field involves basic theory,social sciences and Multi dimensional space,such as bioengineering technology,has gradually realized scientific,accurate and effective training methods.Therefore,combining the theory of cycle training and excess recovery in competitive sports to guide the military physical training will help to improve the training concept of soldiers,optimize the military physical training program,improve the efficiency of military training and reduce the training damage.So as to promote the modernization of our army and finally realize the Chinese dream and the dream of building a strong army.In this study,the methods of literature,expert interview,experiment and mathematical statistics are used to elaborate the current situation of military physical training,cycle training and the theory of over recovery in detail.Then,the test contents of various physical qualities of the trained soldiers are determined by expert interview.Then,the theory of cycle training and over recovery is designed to fit perfectly The physical training plan of the front-line soldiers of our army was carried out.At last,through the mathematical statistics,the physical quality of the soldiers before and after the training was compared and analyzed scientifically,and the following results were obtained:Conventional military physical training means are single,soldiers lack enthusiasm for training,lack of basic physical training facilities and professional training personnel.The conclusions are as follows:1.The theory of periodic training and excessive recovery can guide the routine military physical training,which can effectively improve the physical form of soldiers,reduce the military training injuries,significantly improve the test results of soldiers'back strength,grip strength,standing long jump,3000 meters,100 meters,sitting forward body bending,quadrant cross jump,and standing with eyes closed.2.Sports and military have a strong integration.It is feasible to conduct in-depth analysis and practical verification of the two theories.The theory of periodic training and excessive recovery can guide military physical training.
