College Students' Leisure Education In The Internet Era

With the coming of Internet age,the production pattern and lifestyle have been tremendously changed.For college students,Internet has not only changed the traditional study method,broadened their skill set,but also made their life more convenient and efficient,provided a way to achieve their own value.The extra leisure time is closely related to Internet for college students,thus,allocating it appropriately and with quality will promote the overall development for college student.Leisure education is a way to achieve the goal.What is the status of college students' leisure education in the Internet age? What are the problems? What are the reasons for these problems? How should we improve college students' leisure education?Surveys and interviews with college students shows that having plenty of leisure time and being engaged with various of activities is now the current situation,but meanwhile,problems as lacking of the awareness of taking fully use of leisure time,weak in the skill set of how to use the leisure time and lacking of guidance are still existing.It's not hard to come to a conclusion after analyzing these problems that utilitarianism caused the weak awareness of leisure time,conformity mentality caused the misuse of it,lacking of goals and guidance is the reason of the excessive entertainment.The lack of recognition and attention of leisure time education and the mislead actions done by university caused the deficiency of the leisure education.The solutions to fix the existing problems are firstly,increase student's awareness of leisure time;Secondly,strengthen the guidance and make more effort on leisure education study;Thirdly,broaden the content and method of student's leisure time;The last but not the least,innovative education methods.
