As the wave of construction of development zones gradually subsided, the value of pursuing economic benefits alone could not meet the needs of sustainable development, and development zones led by city-industry integration began to transform. In the process of transformation,on the one hand, due to extensive development at the initial stage of construction, problems such as unbalanced employment and housing, traffic congestion and other issues have become prominent, which seriously affects the operation efficiency of the development zone and the pace of transformation. On the other hand, with the adjustment of industrial structure and the influx of immigrants, the social relations in the development zone have been further diversified, resulting in a more complicated spatial relationship between occupation and housing. Therefore, clarifying the relationship between occupation and residence is not only an urgent need for the transformation of the development zone, but also an inevitable requirement for the integrated development of industry and city. This study further analyzes the internal relationship between the industry-city integration concept and the job-housing relationship, builds a research framework for the development zone's job-resident spatial relationship from the perspective of city-industry integration, and selects two typical development zones(Suzhou Industrial Park,Suzhou New District)as the targets for empirical research.Using LBS mobile phone positioning data as the main basis for job and residence identification, using a variety of measurement methods, based on multi-scale and group perspectives, from the three aspects of spatial distribution, commuting distance and commuting flow, sort out the characteristics of the job-housing spatial relationship in the development zone for further comparison Summarize the working-residential model, explore its mechanism of action, and propose corresponding optimization strategies to provide a reference for the city-industry integration of the development zone and the optimization of the job-housing relationship. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Based on the research framework of the employment-residential relationship, the commonality and differences of the occupational-residential relationship between the park and the new district were found. The commonality is that the total amount of vocational housing in the two districts has reached a balance, but there is a relatively high proportion of "internal and external housing" and "internal and external housing"groups. The increase in income further increased. The differences are as follows:first, the employment space of SIP shows the scattered characteristics under the multi-cluster pattern, while SND is the concentrated characteristic under the influence of strong centers;second, the living space of SIP is more scattered, showing a circle structure, and the living space of SND It is characterized by large-scale sheet concentration;third,SIP has a large number of inter-street commuting in the area, with a high proportion of mid-distance commuting,SND has a close working-resident relationship with the main urban area, and a high proportion of close-range commuting.(2)Combining multiple element levels to carry out comparisons, summarizing the job-housing relationship in the development zone into two models of comprehensive balance and production interaction, and carry out research on the mechanism of action. The research believes that the formation of the job-housing relationship is guided by the land structure of the development zone, from a single function to a functional composite, which promotes the balance between occupational and residential land;on the other hand,it is affected by the allocation of occupational and residential supply and demand in the housing supply market.Under the combined influence of changes in employment, the diversification of employment structure, and the network of the transportation system,it has led to an imbalance in the occupational and residential structure. At the same time, the development zone's choice of development path is an important reason for the differences in occupational and residential models:"extended expansion"development zones including SND,constantly changing boundaries and difficult unified planning during the development process have led to zones in the zone.It is difficult to co-ordinate,and the development of different areas is quite different, eventually forming a production-interactive occupation-living model;the "new city progressive"development zone, represented by SIP,realizes the stability from "area to city" under the guidance of forward-looking comprehensive planning. The transition finally manifested itself as a comprehensive balanced occupational and residential model.(3)Based on the analysis of the mechanism of action,it is proposed to establish the concept of structural balance and improve the supply of post housing;improve the public transportation system and reduce the cost of work and housing commuting;divide the city-industry integration unit, pay attention to the multi-group occupation and housing needs and other optimization strategies for development District from "balance of occupational and residential quantity" to "balance of occupational and residential quality",and finally provide a reference for the integration of industry and city.
