The quality of education is the core of vocational and technical education.The quality of the teacher determines the quality of education.Strengthening the cultivation of vocational education teachers is an important way to promote the development of vocational education.At present,China is in a crucial period of industrial structure upgrade and transformation,and the vocational education is also in a critical transition period of connotative development.In Industry 4.0 and "Made in China 2025”era,building a socialist modernized country urgently requires the formation of high-quality vocational education teacher group.At present,China has made great achievements in teacher training in the field of vocational education,but it has also encountered some difficulties in the process of reform and development."Stones from other mountains can attack jade",looking at our neighboring country Japan,its vocational education has cultivated a large number of excellent talents for all working fields,which has played a huge role in promoting economic development and cultivating citizens.The reason why Japan vocational education can achieve such great achievements lies in the strong vocational education teacher team.In Japan,in-service teacher training has formed a relatively complete training system.However,the formation of vocational teacher training's ideology in China is relatively late,and there are still some systematic and political flaws.This article aims to compare the historical development process and current situation of vocational education teacher training in Japan with that of China.Of course,history is a thing of the past,so the emphasis is on the comparison of current situation in vocational education teacher training in two countries.When introducing the current situation,this article divides the training process of vocational education teacher into three stages:the pre-service training of period;the admission period and the in-service training period.By dividing the training process into three periods,comprehensive analysis and comparison are conducted,and the reasons for the differences are summarized.The article finally takes Japan's successful experience as an entry point.By taking China's current situation into consideration,some suggestions are put forward.The suggestions for the cultivation of pre-service teachers are that we should pay attention to:encouraging comprehensive universities to train vocational education teachers and improve the training of vocational education teachers;reforming the curriculum content of pre-employment training to lay the foundation for teachers' future career;attending to concentrate on the combination of theory and practice,academic and professional;strengthening the construction of "dual teacher" team.The enlightenments of the admission for vocational education teachers are that we should:establish a teacher qualification certificate hierarchy system;emphasize the professionalization of vocational education teacher;tighten the recruitment policy of vocational education teacher;appoint part-time teachers when necessary and improve teacher 's practical teaching ability;implement the remote online training course carried out by enterprises' teachers to improve the efficiency of vocational education teachers'training.With regard to in-service training for vocational education teachers,the suggestions given are that we should:reform and improve the on-service training system;optimize the structure of accurate and efficient training courses;choose effective training methods;improve the content and methods of evaluation to promote teachers' person awareness of self-development.
