Zoo Science Popularization Education In Primary School Science "Characteristic Curriculum" Practical Research

The rapid economic development and social progress have brought new development impetus and new requirements to all walks of life.STSE education and new development ideas were also the products of this new era,both of which have attached great importance to the environment.Then how to strengthen students' awareness of environmental protection in daily teaching? The primary school science curriculum standards suggested the integration of curriculum resources in order to cultivate students' awareness of environmental protection.Primary school science "characteristic curriculum" is the school curriculum resources,the zoo science popularization curriculum is the off-campus curriculum resources,the combination of the school curriculum resources and off-campus curriculum resources would have what kind of effect,and what kind of difficulties would be faced? Therefore,based on the above reasons,this study carried out a practical research on the popularization of zoo science education in the "characteristic curriculum" of primary school science.To understand the development of the existing "characteristic curriculum" in some primary schools in Guangzhou and the knowledge of animal science contained in primary school science;To discuss the teaching practice of science popularization course in Guangzhou zoo;And according to the implementation of the curriculum,suggestions are provided for the development of zoo science popularization education and primary school science "characteristic curriculum".In this study,literature research method was used to comb the research background.By means of questionnaire survey and interview survey,the author understood the development of "characteristic curriculum" in some primary schools in Guangzhou.I collated and analyzed primary school scientific animal knowledge,designed and implemented zoo science popularization curriculum.Finally,classroom observation,educational experimental research,questionnaire survey and interview survey were adopted to explore the teaching effect of zoo science popularization courses from three aspects: classroom observation,students' learning results,and parents' and teachers' opinions,so as to provide references for the development of zoo science popularization education and "characteristic curriculum" of primary school science.The main conclusions were as follows:(1)It was of practical significance to combine the zoo science popularization educationwith the "characteristic curriculum" of primary school science.(2)The animal knowledge in the textbook focuses on cultivating students' awareness of animals and protection of animals,and some of its contents are suitable for teaching activities combining with zoo resources.(3)Based on the classroom observation of four themed science popularization courses,the students' learning results of "elephant,never forget!" of the "novice" science popularization teacher and the opinions of teachers and parents,it was found that the implementation of zoo science popularization courses in primary schools had obvious effects.(4)Guangzhou zoo and the school can continue to improve the existing curriculum according to their own development needs,strengthen cooperation,expand the faculty,and make curriculum evaluation and feedback.
