A Study On The Case Work Involved In The Growth Dilemma Of The Motherless Children

In recent years,with the rapid development of economy and the increasing emancipation of mind,people's view of marriage has gradually changed.Because of the weak emotional foundation,personality incompatibility,domestic violence and other reasons,the divorce of husband and wife often occurs.In addition,the number of children who lost their mother is increasing due to the death of their mothers due to accidents,diseases and other reasons.They are faced with many growing difficulties and need attention from all walks of life.But at present,there is a lack of research on this group,especially the practical research from the perspective of social work.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the social work involved in the growth dilemma of the motherless children.Based on the "warm heart mother" project of N social work comprehensive service center in Changsha City,this paper collected data of 50 motherless children in L town.On the basis of ecosystem theory and social support network theory,this paper uses literature method,interview method and observation method to collect the data related to the motherless children.Through the analysis of the data,it summarizes the growing difficulties of the motherless children,the causes of the difficulties and their current needs.And choose three different types of motherless children as research cases to analyze their difficulties.Social workers use the practical skills of case work to provide them with professional services,explore the potential of the case owner,link social resources,and use the existing resources around the case owner to help the three case owners out of difficulties,so that they can grow up healthily and happily.The results show that social work is effective in the development of the children who lost their mother.The living conditions of the children who lost their mother are improved,their psychological conditions are changed,their academic achievements are improved,their peer relationships are optimized,their families are improved,and their growth difficulties are alleviated to some extent.At the same time,it also provides practical experience for in-depth study of this group and lays a foundation for future research.Finally,in view of the limitations in the practice process,the author puts forward some suggestions.It is hoped that more people will pay attention to this group and devote themselves to the research,so as to better solve the growing dilemma of the motherless children.
