According to the Philippine Metro Manila Chinese Education,the administration of the Primary school and Kindergarten in most Chinese schools are separated.We can say that these are two independent educational entities;the main reason why there is a big difference in their teaching methods and also the reason why kindergartens are not able to adapt grade school easily.This research surveys all of the Chinese teachers of the 29 Chinese schools in Metro Manila and some parents of the grade one students.The survey shows that most of the schools have differences in regards to teaching time,lessons,teaching techniques and the teacher's mastery of the curriculum in kindergarten and primary school,thus affecting the continuity of learning between them.Many teachers and parents do not realize the work and preparations to be done that sails the child's smooth adaptability towards grade school.To resolve this problem,this research focuses on the present condition of the Chinese schools in dealing with the student's continuity of learning;giving suggestions to the different departments that may help them improve.To the kindergarten teachers,using right methods of cultivating and nurturing the learning habits of their students by introducing them to different subject areas and igniting their interest in taking grade one.To the grade one teachers,to continue establishing their learning habits,constructing a very light and happy learning environment and creating a Chinese atmosphere for them,thus motivating the students further.To the parents to actively cooperate with the school to develop student's life and learning of the proposal.To the schools' administration,that they will accept right changes in regards to their lessons enhancing their bridging connection towards grade school and that they will strengthen their parent-teacher relationship.
