From kindergarten education to primary school education,children have great differences in learning content,learning methods,learning goals,lifestyle and many other aspects.Preschool children gain direct experience mainly through play and daily life.But,after entering primary school,classroom teaching would become the main way for children to acquire knowledge.Compared with kindergarten life,when children entering primary school,they not only need to master the knowledge taught in the classroom,but also need to complete a certain amount of after-school homework.Therefore,the connection between these two stages plays an important role in the smooth transition of children from the role of preschool children to the role of primary school freshman.From kindergarten to primary schooling is the most important stage of the development of children and families,it will affect children's school performance potentially in future.This paper starts from the perspective of the transition from kindergarten to primary school,based on the current adapting situation of the tested freshmen in the first grade,through issuing questionnaires to parents,conducting targeted interviews with first grade class adviser,class teachers and parents,also observing in the first grade classroom,then comparing with the superior transition from kindergarten to primary school,we draw the conclusion that in the tested school,most of the freshmen are good at learning adaptation in the test,but there are still some obvious problems in studying motivation,study initiative,study habits,independence,perseverance and many other aspects.In this paper,the causes of adaptability are analyzed from the perspectives of learning initiative,learning interest,study habits and learning independence.Then taking the school environment,the way that teachers teach,home-school cooperation as the entry points,proposing the following promotion strategies to these problems:arrange theclassroom to prepare the students to adapt to the new environment as soon as possible,kindergarten and primary school teachers give effective guidance to students' habits,routine training of independence and perseverance for children in the connecting stage,diversified teaching methods leading the teaching connection,establishing harmonious teacher-student relationship in correct evaluation.To improve the learning adaptability of the primary school freshmen and help the children to complete the transition,enter the primary school learning and life smoothly.
