As a vital part of the high school geography teaching research,geography classroom teaching method is related to the efficiency and effect of geography classroom teaching.Therefore,it is an important work to study the teaching method of high school geography.Nevertheless,a extremely common phenomenon is that most of the high school geography teachers are still used to the traditional teacher-led teaching method,and the effect of students' study in class is not satisfactory.Due to the improper teaching methods used by teachers in classroom teaching,students often find that geography lessons extremely boring,and the knowledge of geography is difficult to understand or not fully understood.High school geography class caught into a dilemma of high consumption and low efficiency.To get out of this dilemma,we are supposed to base on classroom teaching reform,choose or create a classroom teaching method that fits the actual situation of the school,cultivate students' ability of independent learning,lead students to think,and let students get the ability to face the future development.Therefore,this article focused on the high school geography classroom teaching method reform,with the author's practical classroom teaching method reform in Linchuan No.2 middle school as the research object,firstly analyzes the necessity of geography classroom teaching method reform,and then through the method of literature research clearly effective classroom teaching related concepts on the basis of this discussion shouldfollow the principle of effective classroom teaching method reform,and reform will encounter problems,using the case method,in view of the current analysis of actual case compared to traditional classroom teaching of the section of each section of effective classroom teaching effect,finally the methods of investigation method,comparative method,Through the analysis of the questionnaire survey of students and teachers,the paper investigates the effect of the reform of effective classroom teaching methods and finds out the shortcomings of the reform.Based on the case study,experimental comparison and questionnaire survey,this paper finally draws the following conclusions:1.The reform of effective classroom teaching methods has indeed changed some disadvantages of traditional classroom teaching methods,and has a good effect on improving students' learning interest,cultivating their self-study ability and cooperation ability,and students' geography test scores have improved(The average final examination score of the experimental class was 4.6 points higher than that of the control class,and the passing rate was 19.3% higher than that of the control class).2.Various constraints encountered in the reform process,to further promote the high school geography classroom teaching method reform,in addition to the existing measures,should also continue to promote the transformation of teacher education,their teaching skills,attaches great importance to the normal teaching,decrease the rate of into class,establishing high school geography of school-based research,refining the reform plan,etc.
