Issue And Research On Primary Parents' Schools Of Western Rural Areas

As the proverb says,father is to blame for his son's faults.As the main executors and people in charge of family education,parents undertake an important mission of children's elementary education,which influences the whole life of the children.Therefore,parents' own educational attainment directly impacts the quality of the family education.With the development of economy and society,the children's growing process figures out varies problems,which make family education more and more difficult,especially in vast rural areas.Combined with our true condition,our country is a traditional agricultural nation.Up to half population is in rural areas.Parents in rural areas are more eager to have some experience in family education,because the level of it will have a close relationship with the development of next generation.Frankly speaking,parents' schools establish a right sense of family education.Meanwhile,it upgrades the method of family education and is the main means to improve the standard of family education.So,it is attached great importance.Early in 1983,the first parents' school in China was opened in Oil Town of Xiangshan County,Zhejiang province.From that time on,a variety of schools aimed at parents began to arise step by step.As the main site of parents' education and the guidance of family education in China,it is extremely important to open a parents' school,vast rural areas of west in particular.How to run parents' schools successfully and how to make the most of rural parents' schools in family education have aroused great concern and attention of educators.Firstly,my study emphasizes it is important to have parents' schools in primary schools of rural area in western China.Based on a great deal of document,I take A primary school in Beichuan for example.It is a parents' school.Secondly,I used two ways—question and answer;interviewer and interviewee.I made a deep survey on its headmaster,lecturers,teachers,parents and students.Moreover,I summarized the problems of current parents' schools and analyzed the four different aspects—cognitive level,school condition,regulation system and future development deeply.Then,I made a conclusion on why there are so many problems on opening parents' schools.Lately,I figured out the exact strategies in improving cognition,enriching running form,perfecting regulation system and the following-up consequences.My purpose is to consolidate the opening of the parents' school and promote the long-term development of pupils in full aspects of rural areas.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction.It introduces the main topic and concludes the researches and the cases of the parents' schools all around the world,especially the rural areas.I define the main concept of this thesis,and expound the theoretical basis of this research.I also expound the purpose,idea,method and significance of this research.The second part is the survey at current parents' schools of A primary school in Beichuan.This chapter introduces my design of it and some basic circumstances nowadays.The third part is to analyze the problems and existing reasons of A primary school in Beichuan.Through the interview of its headmaster,lecturers,teachers and students as well as the survey at parents,I find a series of problems,including a lack of dissemination on current parents' schools;a lack of high attention;monotonous running;ignoring judgments in every aspect,etc;The most important is the parents' schools lack the following-up actions to the learning results.Therefore,I get four big conclusions,including a lack of cognition,bad running condition,a lack of regulation in management evaluation,and the shortness of further plans.The last part is the suggestions and strategies in the development of A parents' school.In this part,my focus is on the reasons during the investigation.referring to the mature experience of parents' schools all around the world and combining our reality of rural primary schools in western area,I put forward some strategies on how to promote the development of primary parents' schools in rural areas.The contents are as follows: improve the focus of all sides;upgrade the operating level;perfect the regulation and evaluation system;create the future development.
