Ideological and political education is a very important task for students in the high school stage.The high school stage is “jointing-booting” period for adolescents,for it is extremely essential and valuable in the growth and development of young students.As a compulsory course for high school students,the ideological and political course undertake the sacred mission of cultivate people.It plays an extremely important role in cultivating the ideological and moral cultivation and scientific and cultural cultivation of high school students.It can not only help students strengthen their ideals and beliefs,but also make correct values,judgment and value selection.In 2014,the state initiated the reform of the admissions examination system.Correspondingly,provinces and cities conducted reformal explorations of the new college entrance examination.In 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping hosted an ideological and political theory course of teachers' seminars on himself,and pointed out the direction for the development of ideological and political theory courses.In such an era,it is the duties and historical mission for ideological and political theory teachers that how to carry out ideological and political lessons,attract students' interest,stimulate students' enthusiasm,improve the core literacy of ideological and political disciplines,and maintain the main position of ideological and political education.In the front-line of education and teaching process,the author found that the teaching of ideological and political lessons emphasized theory over practice and results over process,and the effect of ideological and political education was not ideal.Students' attitudes and interests in ideological and political courses need further correction and improvement.Through the implementation of ideological and politicallesson practice teaching activities,the effectiveness and flexibility of ideological and political lessons have been enhanced,and the depth and breadth of ideological and political lessons have been enhanced.Students' enthusiasm for studying ideological and political lessons has been significantly improved,and their ability to practice in society has significantly increased.Social hotspots and concerns about people's livelihood have greatly increased.The writing of this dissertation is on the foundation of the author's teaching practice in the past five years.Based on the current status of ideological and political lessons in ordinary senior high schools in Luoyang,a survey is conducted to explore strategies and improve the effectiveness of ideological and political lessons in high schools.This dissertation is divided into three parts: first,what is the practical teaching of ideological and political courses;second,what is the current problems in practical teaching of ideological and political courses,the factors that affect the practical teaching of ideological and political courses;and third,how to improve the practical teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools.The first part of the introduction,specifically introduces the basis and significance of the research,conducts a comprehensive review of domestic and foreign literature,clarifies the research ideas and methods,and introduces the difficulties,focuses and innovations of the research.The second part is the basis of this dissertation.Firstly,the connotation of the practical teaching of ideological and political courses are defined,Secondly,the ways to carry out the practical teaching of ideological and political courses: the in-class practice activities,extra-curricular practice activities and virtual practice activities are clarified.Thirdly,it is emphasize that practical teaching activities can mobilize enthusiasm to make ideological and political lessons meaningful,increase participation,make ideological and political lessons interesting,and improve practical ability to train newcomers of the times.The third part focuses on the analysis of the current problems and reasons for the current practice teaching of ideological and political courses in senior high schools.It analyzes the current teaching status of ideological and political courses in high schools from the perspectives of the state,schools,and teachers;it explores the problems existing in the current high school ideological and political course practical teaching from teaching effect and other aspects;and it analyses the reasons for the current high school ideological and political course practical teaching,from theperspective of schools,teachers,and students.The fourth part proposes the implementation strategies to improve the effectiveness of the practical teaching of ideological and political subjects in high school in view of the problems existing in the practical teaching of ideological and political courses,including support system evaluation system,seminar training,multiple collaboration,integrated development,and curriculum construction of practical teaching of ideological and political course.
