Spoken language is the basis of individual language development,and it is the most basic means of information exchange.Modern Society emphasizes interpersonal interaction and cooperation,therefore oral competence has become an essential quality of modern citizens.The spoken language is also indispensable to the society.The national spoken language competency is closely related to the construction of a harmonious society,and the level of national native language is reflecting the soft power of a country.Hence,it is necessary to study and optimize spoken Chinese teaching so as to ensure a harmonious Chinese life for individuals.Under the background of "emphasis on written but less on spoken language",the teaching of spoken Chinese is a weak link in the Chinese class of primary and secondary schools.This has become an important reason restricting Chinese curriculum reform and the development of spoken Chinese teaching.In fact,there are plenty of achievements gained by ancestors in Chinese language education,among which,Zhu Ziqing,a famous Chinese language educator,possesses many unique views in spoken Chinese teaching.This has accumulated precious resources for our curriculum teaching reform,and is worth our in-depth study and development.This paper is divided into five parts:In the introduction part,this paper expounds the origin,significance,core concepts and research methods of the study,sorts out and comments on the relevant research of Zhu Ziqing's thought on spoken Chinese teaching.Besides,this part also discusses the current situation of spoken Chinese curriculum in the mainland of China,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,Singapore and Malaysia.The second part takes Zhu Ziqing's view of spoken language as a starting point,first traces back to the formation of his view of spoken Chinese,analyzes the cultural background,the background of the times and peer background of his ideological growth.Secondly,the value,function and characteristic of spoken language are sorted out based on Zhu Ziqing's related discourse.The third part,based on the summary and analysis of Zhu Ziqing's concepts of "the logic of oral expression","the logic of written language" and "using pen as tongue",makes the differences and connections between spoken and written language clear.This paper clarifies the development and relationship between students' spoken and written ability,probes into the training methods of spoken and written Chinese,and clarifies the differences and connectionsbetween Mandarin and local dialects.This paper also discusses the education of Mandarin,and finally summarizes three characteristics of spoken Chinese.The fourth part,based on Zhu Ziqing's discourse and practice of oral Chinese education,summarizes the status and role of spoken Chinese teaching,and organizes the specific content and principles of Zhu Ziqing's spoken Chinese teaching.It is clear that spoken Chinese teaching plays a critical part in many aspects of individual role,such as meeting the needs of speech,developing language ability,improving thinking ability,shaping sound personality and "promoting language development".The spoken Chinese teaching includes the training of mandarin,context,expression and thinking.The fifth part mainly discusses Zhu Ziqing's perspectives on spoken Chinese teaching.There are three kinds of spoken Chinese teaching methods: reading,reciting,oral question-and-answer and discussion,and special methods include drama,debate and speech,etc.Extracurricular activities are conducted through group activities and daily conversation.The sixth part organizes and summarizes he contents of above-mentioned,draw inspiration and suggestions to the current spoken Chinese teaching.The enlightenment includes the value of spoken Chinese teaching,the content and implementation of spoken Chinese curriculum.Suggestions from this paper contain six parts,including the combination of written language training and oral language training,the coordinated promotion of oral language training and development of Chinese language,unifying mandarin learning and the use of dialects skillfully,integrating teachers' teaching and students' learning organically,Complementing traditional methods and educational technology,and deeply integrating Chinese course teaching and students' life.
