A Study On The Career Selection Of Students From The Mainland Of Xinjiang Universities

The Party and the state always attach great importance to the employment of college students.The employment of college students is a systematic project,which is restricted by many factors,such as the state,society and individual college students,and the concept of employment is the core factor related to the employment of contemporary college students.This research is based on the existing research results of domestic and foreign scholarss,based on the theory of trait factors,professional motivation theory,Marx's view of youth employment,this study comprehensively uses two methods of theoretical analysis and empirical research to carry out an empirical survey of 582 undergraduate students in Tarim University,and conduct in-depth interviews with 25 undergraduate students;and use SPSS19.0 to analyze the data.First of all,to understand the differences among the different demographic variables among the four dimensions: job selection cognition,job selection motivation,job selection expectation and job selection attitude,and to explore the basic situation and existence of students' outlook on employment in Xinjiang colleges and universities The question.Secondly,from the national,social,school,family and individual five levels to affect the Xinjiang university students in the mainland view of employment factors.Finally,the paper puts forward the ways and countermeasures to improve and perfect the employment outlook of college students in Xinjiang.The empirical analysis shows that there are significant differences in students' choice of employment in different grades,reasons for their study in Xinjiang,such as gender,location of family(rural or urban),place of origin,economic conditions of family,personal status(whether they are party members or student cadres),reasons for their study in Xinjiang,and volunteers.The overall situation of college students in Xinjiang is good,but there is a gap between some students' job selection concept and the requirements of social and economic development.The cognition of choosing a job is not comprehensive enough,there is a conflict of motivation in choosing a job,the expectation of choosing a job is not reasonable enough,and the attitude of choosing a job is not positive enough.In view of the above problems,the state should provide policy and system support to create a good employment environment;the society should strengthen social security,strengthen the constraints and norms on employers and the talentmarket,and strengthen the supervision of public opinion;colleges and universities should strengthen the education guidance to students,pay attention to the cultivation of students and promote the comprehensive strength of schools;parents in families need to update their cognition and upbringing style;and students themselves should improve their comprehensive literacy.
