By using the methods of literature,questionnaire,experiment,mathematical statistics and logic analysis,this paper studies the relationship between the improvement of basketball skills and learning motivation of elementary school students in grade 6,especially the sports education model which involves the improvement of learning effect and learning motivation of students after basketball class.This study is divided into two parts.By using the experimental group and the control group respectively to carry on the experiment teaching of basketball sports curriculum,the first part of the research on the influence of students' sports learning motivation.The children's learning motivation scale was used to test the students' learning motivation before and after the experimental teaching.Described the result of the experiment teaching income statistics and independent sample single factor co variance analysis,as well as to the motives of psychological test results with independent sample t-test shows that sports education mode of basketball teaching is better than the traditional teaching mode,and the students in sports education mode difference between before and after the learning motivation of basketball course.In the second part,113 sixth grade students(11-12-year-old teenagers)from the fourth experimental primary school in Pliny city,Shannon province were selected as the research subjects,and 55 experimental groups(28 boys and 27 girls)were divided into the experimental group.In the control group,58 students(32 male students and 26 female students)used the traditional education mode to teach basketball courses.After the end of the teaching experiment,students in the experimental group and the control group were tested on their free-throw line shooting skills,and their scores before and after the teaching experiment were compared.The research results show that: 1.The research finds that the sports education model has a relatively complete theoretical system,which has unique characteristics and is feasible to be used in the physical education of primary schools.2.In the learning motivation part of physical education class,the experimental group was superior to the control group and showed significant difference,with low effect.There was no significant difference in basketball skill learning between the two groups.
