Since the founding of New China,graduate education goals have gradually become clearer,more diverse,and more progressive in the evolution of higher education.Due to the continuous advancement of talent policies,the types of talents have changed from the initial training of specialized technical personnel to the training of compound talents now required.In terms of responding to the training and development of compound talents,the characteristics of interdisciplinary graduate students are in line with the conditions for compound talents.Nowadays,they choose interdisciplinary postgraduate entrance examinations based on policy development trends and their own interests,and the number of cross-examination candidates has increased year by year in order to pursue diversity learning goals in order to develop into a higher level of compound talents.However,interdisciplinary postgraduate students will encounter more or less academic difficulties in the process of training.Therefore,how to find these realistic dilemmas and find appropriate strategies to solve them has an important supporting role in the optimization of the interdisciplinary postgraduate training process and the realization of goals.It is also very important for the implementation of the policy of compound talent training,and can also promote the development of graduate education in China.This study draws on Parsons' "structural-functionalism" theory,and under the guidance of constructivism learning theory,investigates and analyzes the academic dilemma encountered by interdisciplinary postgraduates and their causes,and finally proposes solutions to the problem.The research mainly adopts a hybrid research method.Under the principle of "saturation of information",interviews were conducted with 20 interdisciplinary postgraduates to learn about the difficulties they encountered during their academic studies.The interviews were then reviewed with university degree points based on the results of the interviews.The basic conditions and other documents form the dimensions of an interdisciplinary postgraduate survey.The semi-open questionnaire survey conducted in terms of admissions,learning process and employment,etc.,will conduct statistical analysis of the survey results and summarizethe specific manifestations of academic difficulties.Among the first 20 interdisciplinary postgraduate graduate students,six representative interviewees were selected for in-depth interviews,and the present situation of interdisciplinary postgraduate graduate students' academic dilemma was improved and the nature of the problem was analyzed in depth.The study found that due to the phenomenon of trouble in the training of interdisciplinary postgraduates,after classifying the survey results,the academic difficulties of interdisciplinary postgraduates are mainly reflected in the contradiction between the diversity of learning goals and the unidirectionality of the training goals;The inherent appeal of learning is the conflict between the external environment of cultivation;the difficulties in the integration of teacher-student disciplines and the negative impact of employment conditions on learning input.Based on the analysis of the academic dilemma encountered by interdisciplinary postgraduates and their causes,this study proposes the following policy recommendations: coordinate learning goals and training objectives;improve themselves and the learning environment,alleviate academic pressure;restructure the teacher-student relationship,and based on employment situation to increase learning investment of interdisciplinary postgraduate etc.
