Illustration is the most direct teaching resource for teachers,and its function cannot be replaced by words.Illustrations can enrich the content of the text,stimulate students' interest in learning,and guide primary school students to have a strong desire to explore the knowledge in the textbook.Teachers can use illustrations to teach students more intuitively,which can activate students' thinking and leave an deep impression in their brains;help break through important and difficult points;promote students' ability to transfer knowledge positively and improve the discovery of implicit knowledge ability to achieve the effect of centralization of knowledge and networked memory;it can also cultivate students' inquiry ability;it can improve students' experimental skills;it can cultivate students' emotional attitudes and values.First of all,this research is carried out closely around the classroom teaching practice of Science in primary schools.It mainly uses questionnaire survey,case analysis and interview methods.It collects the knowledge and implementationof the use of illustrations in the elementary school Science by a science teacher in Changsha City.Feedback from the situation found that some teachers have the following problems in illustration teaching design: teaching goals are too single,and the method of handling illustrations is single;there are the following problems in teaching application:lack of attention to the needs of students' life development,lack of effective use of illustrations,Ignore the teaching value of textbook illustrations.Then,in response to the above problems,the author starts from the concept of using illustration teaching:lack of awareness of using illustration teaching and being affected by traditional teaching concepts;skills of using illustration teaching:lack of relevant illustration teaching theoretical guidance and lack of professional illustration teaching training.Analysis in all aspects.Finally,the countermeasures are proposed from two aspects.In terms of improving the ability of illustration teaching design:clever use of illustrations to achieve teaching goals,enriching illustration teaching methods;changing the concept of illustration teaching:improving teachers' awareness of using illustration teaching,updating the concept of usingillustration teaching;paying attention to the value of illustration teaching:careful analysis The value of different types of illustrations and the teaching value of illustrations in moral,intellectual and aesthetic education.In order to provide reference and reference for the majority of front-line science teachers,so as to give full play to the application value of illustrations.
