The 2017 edition of the general high school geography curriculum standard creatively puts forward the concept of geographical core quality,and points out that the college entrance examination proposition should be combined with the complex and real situation.Deep learning emphasizes the training of core literacy as the goal,takes students as the main body to actively and critically construct knowledge,realize problem solving in real situations,and help to reflect the characteristics of geography disciplines and the requirements of curriculum standards,and is conducive to the improvement of students' comprehensive geographical quality.Outlying counties due to outlying location,weak economic base,backward educational concepts and insufficient investment in educational resources and many other factors,geographical classroom than the requirements of curriculum standards still have a certain distance,discipline integration,art,practical and ideological characteristics have not been fully reflected,students lack of deep learning,compared with developed areas,the gap is still large.Therefore,taking outlying counties as the starting point to explore the current situation and difficulties faced by students in deep learning,and put forward the corresponding strategies,is of great practical significance.In this paper,with Sunning County in outlying county area of Hunan Province as the research area,with constructivism,situational cognition and other theories as the guide,to improve the comprehensive quality of students to define the connotation of shallow learning,deep learning concept,analysis of the characteristics of deep learning requirements and judgment basis,the use of questionnaires,teacher interviews,classroom observation and statistical analysis methods,the outlying county students geo-deep learning status quo and face difficulties to diagnose the relatively high level of understanding.Meet the requirements of geographic depth of learning.However,some students' classroom subject status has not yet been reflected,internal learning motivation,knowledge transfer,critical thinking and geographical core literacy and other aspects of the relatively low level,has not yet met the requirements of geographical depth of learning.(2)Students in outlying counties have weak learning behaviors such as weak geographical foundation,inaccurate positioning of themselves,poor self-consciousness and poor cultivation of geographical core literacy.(3)Teachers in outlying counties have less knowledge of deep learning-related theories,fewer learning opportunities,heavy workloads and insufficient time and energy.(4)Outlying counties are also faced with the difficult is of weak teachers,backward information education equipment,scarcity of equipment reflecting the characteristics of geographical disciplines,loss of high-quality students,poor family education environment and poor family learning environment in outlying counties.In view of the above analysis,the corresponding strategies are put forward in the light of the actual situation of outlying counties,with a view to promoting students' deep study in geography.First,optimize the teaching design from the aspects of creating problem situation,enriching classroom activities,exploring the knowledge of the surrounding township land,creating an equal and harmonious classroom atmosphere,and promoting students' transformation from shallow learning to deep learning;Select outstanding young teachers and college students from developed regions to go to outlying counties to help each other,appropriately reduce the burden of work of teachers in outlying counties;Finally,select "The Formation Principle of Thermal Circulation" as a teaching case,and through the students' classroom performance and the feedback of the teachers,further demonstrate that the strategy proposed in this study is effective and scientific for promoting students' deep study in geography and in outlying counties.
