The curriculum schedule of general high school physics curriculum standard(2017 edition)marks a new reform of high school physics.In the new curriculum standard,four core qualities are put forward,one of which is scientific inquiry.The author before the selected topic,consulting a large number of literature data,found respectively for "experimental teaching" and "scientific inquiry" research content are many,but few combine both the content of the research,therefore I choose to study this topic,the purpose is through the study to take advantage of the high school physics experiment teaching to improve the students' ability of scientific inquiry.In this study,the author not only consulted a lot of literature,but also focused on the analysis of the relationship and importance between experimental teaching and scientific inquiry,and analyzed and improved the existing problems in physics teaching in senior high school.Therefore,according to the theoretical basis of several elements of scientific inquiry to carry out research,targeted research to improve strategy.In the process of this study,according to the theoretical basis,it is more inclined to improve students' interest,participation and situation creation in the experimental teaching process.Finally,a teaching case of "overweight and weightlessness" is used as a case study to improve the teaching design for many times.It is found that improving the ability of scientific inquiry through experimental teaching is an effective method,but it needs the joint efforts of schools,teachers and students.
