This paper adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and case study to study how to cultivate students' ability of scientific inquiry in Chinese physics teaching.This paper is divided into the following parts:The first part is the introduction,expounding the background and significance of the topic,the research ideas and methods.This paper studies the domestic and foreign literature related to high school students' scientific inquiry ability and defines the concept.The second part is the requirements of physics curriculum standards on the cultivation of students' inquiry ability,including the specific objectives of the seven elements of scientific inquiry,the division of levels of scientific inquiry ability,and the introduction of the current domestic evaluation mechanism of scientific inquiry ability.The third part is the investigation of high school students' ability of scientific inquiry.Through questionnaires and field interviews of students and teachers,this paper analyzes the existing problems in the cultivation of inquiry ability in current education.The fourth part puts forward the strategy of cultivating students' ability of scientific inquiry in high school physics teaching.The fifth part is the two cases of how to conduct scientific inquiry in the actual teaching and the test of the strategies proposed by the author through the analysis of students' performance taught by the same teacher,classroom observation and the comparative analysis of the number of scientific papers published.The sixth part is the conclusion of this paper,as well as the shortcomings of this research.
