In the Curriculum Standards for Full-time Compulsory Education(Pilot)published in2001,Practice and Comprehensive Application is independent as a principal part along with Number and Algebra,Space and Shapes,Statistics and Probability,which form the 4 major territories of Mathematics in junior middle school.In the Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education published in 2011 by Ministry of Education,the part of Synthesis and Practice is set to train students to use knowledge and resolutions to solve practical questions,in the meanwhile to development their ideas of questioning,utilizing,and innovating,so as to improve their capacity of resolving practical questions after work experiences are gained.In the Textbook published by People's Education Press,Synthesis and Practice shows in the last part,Mathematics Activities,of each chapter.It aims to enhance students' understanding to certain chapter's knowledge through solving questions,and in the process of which to develop students' relevant capabilities and accumulate teaching experiences.Mathematics Activities is a highlighted and difficult part in the Textbook of People's Education Press.In order to further learn the teaching situation of Mathematics Activities in junior middle school,this study is to conducted in analyzing of the below issues: 1.Teaching status of Mathematics Activities in junior middle school.2.Factors influencing the practice of Mathematics Activities.3.The strategies to improve practice effect of Mathematics Activities.This study is supported by theories of Mathematics Activity on the basis of Mathematics Curriculum Standards with method of literature analysis,questionnaire and interview.By studying of relevant literature,the definitions of Mathematics Activities,Class ofMathematics Activities,Teaching of Mathematics Activities,Study of Mathematics Activities,etc.are defined.In the meanwhile,this paper deeply illustrates the feature,function and related theory proofs of Mathematics Activities teaching.After interview to 10 teachers and12 students,as well as analyze to the effective questionnaire of 42 teachers and 531 students,problems of teachers' preparation,implementation and assessment as well as students' recognition,interests,capability,confidence,teamwork are found.And then factors affect Mathematics Activities teaching such as teachers' attitude,design capability,control capability in class,class organization,and students' emotions,capability,thinking,innovation are exposed after further research.After analyzing the teaching status of current Mathematics Activities,the writer gives 3teaching strategies to prepare teaching of the Activities in means of integrating teaching targets,using multiple teaching materials and utilizing a more scientific teaching design.In perspective of Activities Implementation,there are 10 teaching strategies provided including establish an open teaching atmosphere,improve the actual effect of teamwork,emphasize on students' activities process,proper handling of generative problems,provide platform for exchange,pay attention to students' development of capacity,multiple solutions to questions,stimulate students' interest,respect students' varieties,guide students to conclude and introspection.In perspective of Teaching Assessment,4 teaching strategies include focus on a comprehensive assessing content,varieties of assessors,varieties of assessing methods and abundance of assessing language are given for reference of readers.
