Our country has carried on the eighth new curriculum reform at the beginning of the new century, which aims to promote the all-round development of students. In the background of the new curriculum reform, it is a problem for the majority of educators how to let the students become masters of the classroom,rather than the traditional teaching mode of Teacher Centered.However,teaching method of guiding case embodies teaching conception of "the student as the subject, the teacher as the leading".This paper consists of introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the reasons of the research,the significance,the present situation and the methods.The main body is composed of three parts:The first part introduces in detail the applied process and value on teaching method of guiding case in ideology politics lessons of vocational high school. First of all,introduce the definition of teaching method of guiding case. Secondly,on this basis,expounds its operation steps from the two aspects of design and use in order to have a preliminary overall perception of the mode. At last,demonstrates the applied ignificance.The second part illustrates the applied problem on teaching method of guiding case in pre class, class, and after class.Then the paper looks for reasons from aspects of the school, teachers, and students.The third part elaborates effective countermeasures that will promote application of teaching method of guiding case. From the perspective of schools, the school should take positive measures to promote the teaching by teaching method of guiding case.Firstly,school strengthen the systematic training in order to improve teachers team; Secondly,school increase funds to improve the teaching equipment.Thirdly,school should implement the system of management and supervision and improve the evaluating system.From the perspective of teathers,teathers should change the teaching idea and improve the teaching skills by compilling and using high-quality teaching case.From the perspective of students,develop their self-directed learning ability.For example,enhance self-efficacy to improve enthusiasm of independent learning and optimize the team construction to strengthen the cooperative learning.Lastly, The conclusion part of this paper make a brief summary.what’s more,the paper puts forward to the future of teaching method of guiding case.
